(Lily's P.O.V)
"That's it I'm done, you win, Sasuke."
I say breathlessly as I plop onto the soft grass. Training with Sasuke is already tiring, but in this heat makes it ten times worse.
"Already? What happened to the Lily who could beat me before I even blinked?"
Sasuke asks then tosses a bottle of water to me and I take a large drink.
"Oh she left when a certain someone got the rinnegan and could see her every move..."
Sasuke gives a small chuckle before sitting down next to me and I place my head on his shoulder. We stay like that without saying anything for a while until Sasuke breaks the silence.
"How much longer are you staying here?"
"I'm not sure, but sitting like this is very comfor-"
"No, not here as in sitting here. How long until you go back to the world you came from?"
I could hear the sadness in his voice even though he tried to hide it. Instead of answering the question, I giggle.
"Hey why are you laughing? I'm being serious."
"Because it's a stupid question."
I stop laughing and take my head off of Sasuke's shoulder so I can look at his face.
"Sasuke, I'm not going anywhere. I'll stay here until you tell me to leave, well, maybe not even then."
"Really?"
I nod and Sasuke gives a smile. He stands up and holds out his hand. I place my hand in Sasuke's and he pulls my up.
"It's getting late, let's head back to town."

It's been almost a week since Sasuke asked if I was ever going to leave. Every time I think about it I can't help but laugh, which is exactly what I am doing right now while I'm walking around town. I get pulled out of my thoughts when I see a blob of pink and yellow running at me while yelling my name.
"Oh hey, Naruto, Sakura, What's up?"
"Hey Lily. Have you seen Sasuke? We thought he was with you since it seems like he never leaves you side."
Sakura asks while laughing at her joke.
"No I haven't, but he did say something about helping an old family friend. What do you need him for?"
"We planed on having the old team 7 get together for dinner tonight, but it looks like we'll have to put it off for another time. Is that okay, Naruto?"
"Hmm? Oh, yeah that's fine."
Naruto answers, but isn't paying much attention to our conversation and is staring in the direction of my left hand.
"Naruto, are you okay? You're being way too quiet. Did you say something stupid to Hinata to make her mad again?"
"No I didn't! And What do you mean by again? I've never done anything like that!"
He yells making both Sakura and I laugh.
"Well he's back to normal now."
Sakura says and I nod.
"Hey, Lily. Has Sasuke asked you anything weird sometime this week?"
"Weird?"
He nods and the only thing that comes to mind is when Sasuke asked if I was leaving."
"Yeah he did, why do you ask?"
"What was your answer?"
"I said that I wasn't."
"What?! How could you say no!?"
"Naruto why are you getting so mad at Lily?"
"Because she rejected Sasuke's-"
His yelling gets cut off by Sasuke who covers Naruto's mouth with his hand.
"Naruto, shut up."
"Oh hey, Sasuke, you're back. So what is Naruto talking about?"
"It's nothing, Sakura."
"What do you mean nothing, Sasuke?! Lily said that she wouldn't marry you like it was nothing!"
Naruto yells again after pulling Sasuke's hand from his mouth. After realizing what Naruto just said, my eyes widen and my face turns red.
"Lily, you said no to Sasuke?!"
Sakura yells. Before I could say anything, Sasuke grabs my hand and drags me away.

"I thought he would keep his mouth shut for once, but only habits die hard I guess..."
Sasuke mumbles to himself after we get away from the yelling two.
"What was Naruto talking about, Sasuke?"
"There's no point in trying to surprise you anymore, so I'll just ask now."
Before I could say anything, Sasuke pulls something out of his pocket and goes down onto one knee.
"I had this whole thing planed out perfectly, but thanks to that blonde idiot it got ruined. Lily, you've always been there for me from the days with Orochimaru until now. Even when I got consumed by hate after I learned the truth about Itachi, you made sure I wasn't in any danger. You have no idea how happy I was when you told me that you'd never leave me. After that I knew that I couldn't wait any longer. Lily Kiyokaze, I love you so much. Will you marry me and stay by my side as my wife forever?"
Tears of joy are streaming down my face while Sasuke spoke and when he pulled out a little black box with a beautiful ring in it, I jump into his arms.
"Of course I will, Sasuke!"

"Oh my gosh what am I going to do?"
I mumble as I pace back and forth in the waiting room.
"Don't worry, Lily, everything will be fine!"
Hinata says while trying to get me to calm down.
"All I asked was for Kakashi to hold onto my dress until the wedding so Sasuke wouldn't see it and now he's late! He's Hokage for crying out loud!"
"Did someone say my name?"
Kakashi asks as he pops into the room with the dress in his hands.
"What took you so long, Kakashi? The ceremony was supposed to start ten minutes ago."
Hinata asks.
"He was probably reading that stupid book again. Now give me the dress and get going so we can start!"
Kakashi nods and leaves. After changing into my dress, Hinata and I make our way to my dad and the others who are waiting. I was able to bring Summer, Zero, and my dad to this world since I really wanted them to be a part of this.
"You look beautiful, Lily, Sasuke won't know what hit him."
Naruto says with a laugh and I smile.
"Thanks, Naruto. I'm so nervous though."
"I know something that can make your nervousness go away!"
"Oh really? What is it?"
He leans towards me and whispers in my ear.

"You look absolutely stunning, Lily."
Sasuke says after I walk down the aisle.
"You don't look bad yourself."
I say back while having a huge smile on my face.
"Why are you smiling so big?"
"Cause we're getting married of course! Well and because I learned something interesting not too long ago."
"Oh really, and what might that be?"
"I found out that the main reason you wanted to be stronger than me was so that you'd be the one protecting me and not the other way around. Is that true?"
Sasuke's eyes widen before he turns to glare at Naruto and the blonde boy turns pale. Sasuke turns back to me and nods.

"Those were good times."
I smile to myself as I hold the picture frame in my hand.
"Hey, Mom, what are you looking at?"
I look up and see my little girl running over.
"I'm just looking at a picture. Where is your dad, Yuko?"
"Oh right! Dad needs you in the kitchen! He's having trouble cooking."
We both laugh and I place the frame back on the table.
"Alright, let's go save your dad."
