Such a soft, warm, blanket; cuddled me so tight.

Experienced by everyone yet somehow missed mine,

The cheerful sigh of agony that faded with time,

Was brought to my soul as you said your goodbyes.

Goodbye yet still present, but whom do I bow?

Your face is so distant, are you even mine?

"Did I freeze?" I beg, please tell me I'm right!

The silence so painfully slit through my heart.

Yet my love hadn't differed, so lushes and vile.

May you exist in my day, enough for my soul.

I'll sit quietly, allow you to pass,

As long as you lie, "I love you, the way I always had"
