Janai was such and excellent student she had all amazing grades in all her classes. Even though Janai was a very shy girl she did what she could to make friends in school and get those grades. Janai made friends that were nice and wouldn't hurt her and were as wild and crazy just like her, but she wasn't herself in school.
Janai was always scared to be herself in school. Maybe it's because she was always bullied. Maybe it's because she's not like everyone else so she feels left out. It could also be because she's scared people won't like her for who she is. She's scared of being judged for being the person she is. So when she is inside of school she is not who she really is but outside of school she is such an amazing person and is the best person someone would love to have as a friend.
As she got older she got more emotional. Sometimes she was scared to go to school and sometimes she would come home from school crying. She wanted to reach her goal but she didn't know if she could with all this pressure onto her. She wonders what she should do!
