I woke up on the floor.I sat up,my body racked with pain.I guess I felt a little weak,but not so weak that I might die.It was dark.I pushed my hand out in front of me,as if pushing the darkness away.I was so pale.I heard someone to my left cough.I looked in the direction.Nothing.The person coughed again.I looked down.Nathan was lying there,as if he were....OH MY GOD,HE'S DEAD!!!!Nathan coughed again.Oh,wait,no he isn't!!God,I thought he was!!I shook him."Nathan,c'mon babe,wake up,"I tried everything.Except...."I made waffles,"I said."WAFFLES!!!!????WHERE!!!!????"Nathan screamed.I laughed."In your imagination,"I giggled."LIZZY!!HOW COULD YOU LIE TO ME!?I THOUGHT WE HAD SOMETHING SPECIAL!!!!"Nathan whined.I heard footsteps.Nathan groaned in pain."Nathan,are you okay?"I asked,worried.No response.I looked to my left.He was gone."NATHAN!!!!"I screamed,terrified.I saw someone emerge from the shadows."Hello,darling.Come with me,"He said.I knew that voice.It was the doctor's."Where's Nathan!?"I demanded."In good hands,"He laughed.Something told me that Nathan wasn't in "good hands".I instinctively ran for my life.I heard Nathan screaming.I followed the sound of terror to a truly terrifying scene.
