I am the weed.

You put a smile,
on every face.
You out shine me,
in every way.
However, your glow only shines,
Just for a while.
before it fades,
it's light dying.
But I, the weed,
still grow strong.

Hoping to be

Wishing my appearance would differ.
But I have come to realise.

What an importance is truly within me.
