I fucking hate it, it's stupid ya know,
This situatuon, tearing me apart so slow.
Taking its time, that's a bad sign for me, because
I'm running out of time, this inner monster laughs and torments me,
it causes me to hurt others and not act like who I want to be,
It's because These Angels fight with Devils you see,
I normally pick angels...
But wth each passing second, I start feeling like a baby in a cradle.
So weak and helpless, the seductive words of my demons brings me comfort,
In the midst of these things, at least my feelings won't get hurt but I might hurt others...
But I'd be sacrificing the feelings of those close to me...
Angels fight with Devils, what the fuck do they want from me...
I'm writing these words, in my final breath, my heart is pumping now,
Almost beating through my chest,
I ask what do I do now,
but instead of choosing one or the other,
I take my chances and listen to both, that was a terrible mistake why did you stutter,
Danny you know that wasn't right...
The angels spoke truth, it wasn't me acting in the way of the light...
Danny it's okay, we're always here for you, well yeah those were demons...
When they're done they consume you,
it's like a never ending cycle of pain and suffering...
Can anyone help me, in this war, I'm not stuttering,
The powers of darkness at times might win, but it's that sliver of hope that I have...
It is the light, that is within.
Angels fight with Devils, yes I'm sure they do, how do I know...
Because we all have that war inside of us, it tears us apart and then rebuilds itself within,
the side you give into is the side that will win...
So hold on to that sliver of light don't let those demons overtake you,
They're always lingering, like wolves on the hunt, if you're reading this I beg of you,
Please don't be blunt, don't be foolish and give in to the dark,
Who am I kidding I sound like I'm scared myself, but I'm just trying to make a mark,
but I'm not because I've already been through Hell...
It's not a fun place, even if it's attractive,
It's something that grabs you, and stops you from being active...
You must stay alive, to fight this war...
Angels want less, but demons want more...
