The nerves were growing worse every second I was thinking about him and tonight's date. I checked my appearance again in the mirror. It must have been the third time I had done this. I was wearing a bright, red dress that was strapless and cut off just above my knee. I absoultly loved this dress but never had the occasion to wear it. I checked my silver watch that I was wearing and it was ten to seven. Ten minutes and he would be here. I was feeling very nervous and I could hardly think straight. It didn't help that I had just discovered he was a rock star.
There was a loud pounding on the door. He was early. My stomach was full of butterflies and it was making me very nauseous. I walked down the stairs and opened the door. He was wearing a white shirt that hugged his body and showed off his quite muscular arms with a pair of skinny jeans. It was a perfect match of smart and casual. I couldn't take my eyes off of him. He looked amazing.
"Hi." Zacky said quickly.
"Hi." I quickly returned.
"You look so gorgeous by the way." Zacky admitted and I could feel my cheeks growing hotter.
"Thank you." I replied trying to remain calm "You don't look so bad yourself." I giggled out.
"Thanks. Come on other wise we are going to be late." He said. I quickly moved back from the door so I could reach my black clutch bag that matched my black stiletto shoes perfectly.
"OK. I'm ready now." I said a bit out of breath as I did a little jog back to the front door. I stepped out of the house and locked the door. Zacky led me to his car and opened the passenger door for me. It made my heart melt. He was a true gentleman.
"So, where are we going?" I asked.
"That's a surprise." Zacky laughed.
"Not even a tiny little clue." I begged.
"Nope." Zacky replied whilst popping the p.
The rest of the car ride was silent but it wasn't awkward. I watched the outside world the whole time. Thoughts kept creeping into my head about Zacky and the whole Avenged Sevenfold situation. If we do end up in a relationship he is going to be gone most of the time. How would I cope knowing that there was millions of fans wanting him?
"We are here." Zacky announced and tearing me away from my thoughts. I looked at where we were. It was a small restaurant on the end of a road. It looked Italian due to the unpronounceable name. It looked quiet inside yet romantic. He opened the car door and got out. He rushed round to open the door for me. He made me go weak at the knees.
We walked up to the restaurant and he grabbed my hand and laced our fingers together. My heart skipped a beat at his touch. I knew I would probably be blushing so I kept my head down.
"Table for two under Baker." Zacky told the waiter. He lead us over to a table that was in the corner of the room. It was very secluded from the rest of the restaurant. We sat down and he looked at me. I could feel his piercing green eyes on me and I knew once again my face would be as red as a tomato.
"You know you blush a hell of a lot." Zacky piped up.
I giggled as I was so nervous my voice wouldn't be there when I tried to talk. I got up the courage to talk. God I hate been awkward. "Well stop making me blush." I said.
He laughed. "I really make you blush that much then."
"Yes." I quietly replied.
"So you must like me then." Zacky said with the most cheeky smile I had ever seen. Just then the waiter can over to take our orders. It didn't take long for the food to come along. We had both ordered a pasta dish which was out of this world.
We talked most of the time other than when were eating. We talked about random topics. He told me about his band and all the members. They were called Matt, Johnny and Brian. He told me about their other friend Jimmy who had recently passed. He told me about his family. He sounded like a great guy and everybody in his life seemed great as well. However, I didn't have that much to talk about. I told him about my friends and my job. I had no family as I was an only child and I don't speak to my parents anymore. In a way I envied his life.
Zacky called for the bill. He paid and we walked out of the restaurant hand in hand just like when we entered. He drove me back outside my house and walked me to my door.
"I had a great time tonight." Zacky told me.
"I did as well. We have to do this again sometime." I replied and to be honest I was shocked at how forward I was.
He chuckled and stepped closer to me until his lips were a few inches away from mine. Then I felt his warm lips press against mine along with the cold sensation I got from his metal lip rings. I melted into the kiss and put my arms round his neck as his rested on my lower back. His tongue glided against my bottom lip wanting entrance. I opened my mouth and his tongue dived straight in and we explored each others mouths. We both pulled away gasping for air. We both had a big grin on our faces.
"Bye Kelly." Zacky whispered in my ear as he pecked my lips again. I couldn't speak so I just watched him walk down the driveway and get into his car...
A few days later, me and Zacky had gone out again twice. He took me for another dinner and we went to the cinema. Both dates were amazing and romantic. I was already starting to fall for him. I couldn't believe that I had found an amzing man and he was actually into me as well. I had my first official boyfriend and I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to see Fi's reaction when I tell her about everything. I was extremely nervous though today as he was taking to meet his friends/band members which I had never met before. I didn't even know what they looked like as that day at the signing, I didn't even glance at them. I had heard a lot about them and I was so scared that something would go wrong.
I heard a car beeping outside and I knew it would be Zacky telling me he is here. I ran out of the door and jumped into Zacky's car.
"Hey babe." Zacky greeted me and leaned over to give me a kiss.
"Hi." I replied back. Not making any effort to initiate a conversation.
"You're quiet today. What's up?" He asked. He seemed worried.
"I'm fine. Just nervous to meet your friends. What if they don't like me?" I questioned. I could feel my heart beat racing and I'm sure Zacky could hear it too.
He started laughing. "Don't worry. They are going to love you."
"I just want to make a good impression after all they are your best friends and if they don't like..." I was cut of by Zacky's lips as they pressed harshly against mine. The cold metal crushed against my warm lips sending shivers down my spine.
"Stop worrying." he laughed as I looked out of the window I noticed we were outside a big house. It was massive and it looked really expensive. "We are here." he laughed out again. He had taken me to Matt's house and this is where I was going to meet everyone. I felt sick to my stomach. I hate meeting new people.
He grabbed my hand and squeezed it trying to reassure me everything was going to be alright. We walked to the door and Zacky let himself in. Inside there was two men sat on the sofa watching TV with beer in their hands. One of the men turned their heads to look at us. He smacked the other one in the arm almost knocking the beer out of his hand. The man stood up and made his way over to Zacky and me.
"Hi, I'm Matt." he said. Matt was really tall compared to my short body. He had lots of muscle and tattoos covered every inch of them just like Zacky.
"Hi, I'm Kelly." I nervously replied.
"I know. Zacky hasn't been able to stop talking about you." he chuckled trying to wind up Zacky. I felt my face go instantly hot.
"Hey!" Zacky shouted whilst sending Matt a punch on the arm but it looked like he didn't even feel it.
The other man got up and started walking over to us. He was a lot smaller than Matt and Zacky. His hair was styled as a flat Mohawk and just like the other guys he was covered in tattoos as well along with a nose ring. "Hi, I'm Johnny." he said with a warm smile on his face.
"We call him short shit." Zacky explained to me.
"Nice to meet you short shit." I replied to him. The guys cracked out laughing except for Johnny.
"She is going to fit in alright." Matt said and I felt relief wash over me. I was going to be alright and nobody will hate me. "Brian get in here!" Matt bellowed.
Just then the kitchen door opened and out came a tall man holding a beer himself. His black hair was stuck up to give him a messy hair look and just like the others he was covered in tattoos. I could feel him staring at me intensely and I looked up and into his eyes. I was met by the most stunning colour of brown I had ever seen and I froze. His stare captivated me and I felt something that I had never felt before. Not even with Zacky. He literally took my breath away.
