After second period, she walks into the bathroom.
"Honestly?" a girl speaks,
not knowing she's in the bathroom.
"She's such a slut.
Sleeping with the jocks, drama kids,
and even the nerds!
How desperate is she?"
Her friends replies,
"I actually heard that she's a prude,
not giving into the jocks.
That's why she just talks to them
but she never gets to sit at their table."
"I mean she's such a freak,
why does she talk to everybody?
People just think she's so nice,
but I think that she's only 'friends' with everybody
to get what she wants and to have connections."
They left the bathroom feeling smug.
She walks out and looks in the mirror.
I'm friends with everybody,
not to get what I want,
but because I don't know that I want.
She doesn't know who to be.
She doesn't know herself.
She doesn't know where she belongs.
So she molds herself into other people
So she has a person to be for the time being.
So she can feel like she belongs somewhere.
So she can feel accepted.
She walks out of the bathroom,
feeling dejected
Then straight out of the school.
