1 WEEK LATER
HORIZON
Warped was amazing so far, I'd had so much fun with my friends and my relationship with Mike and Vic was stronger than ever. The first day off in New Orleans and the three of us spent it together. Now I was moshing to my boyfriend's band in West Palm Beach in Florida and looking forward to another day off tomorrow. Austin and I were going on a double date with Ash and Chris which I was looking forward to.
Danielle was modelling in Florida so was spending the day with Vic, but I also heard from Jaime that Kellin was going to be doing a couple of shows performing King for a Day so he'd be staying on our bus. Which could potentially get awkward because not many people knew Vic was bi as was Kellin, but they both had girlfriends. That didn't stop Danielle getting jealous of Kellic.
Jaime told me he was going to be spending the day catching up on sleep and maybe hanging out with All Time Low. While Mike and Tony were the real mystery, they had been super close recently but managed to convince us all that they were just friends.
I'd also been keeping in touch with Oli and he told me I'd have to meet his wife when she joined Warped in Scranton, Hannah seemed cool and I was obsessed with her tattoos. I'd let the drama go a bit, no one was acting suspiciously but Oli did drop the suggestion that maybe I should contact the orphanage again.
"Thank you, Palm Beach."
Austin screams into the mic making the fans scream back at him just as loud nearly bursting my ear drums. The band runs off stage and like always I was engulfed in a sweaty hug. I didn't mind as much anymore. Austin clears his throat and the rest of the band part like the red sea so Austin could have me all to himself.
"This double date is going to be fun."
He pecks my lips and Alan makes gagging noises behind his back.
"Get a room guys."
"But preferably on Pierce The Veil's bus."
Austin and I joint roll our eyes at Tino, we weren't as loud as they made us out to be.
"I've got to get back to the bus, Danielle and Kellin should be there by now."
I kiss Austin one more time making Tino throw his arms up in defeat, it was fun to mess with him.
"Wait, why's Kellin staying on your bus?"
I guess I hadn't updated them, I meant to but Austin kept me busy.
"Vic invited him to perform King for a Day at the next few shows."
Aaron and Phil wiggle their eyebrows while Alan and Tino giggle like teenage girls. Austin wraps his arm around my waist before making a contribution as to why his band was acting like they were.
"Kellic might just happen Horizon, I mean with Kellin and Katelynne no longer together since Kellin announced he liked dicks as well."
"Austin I'm pretty sure my brother loves Danielle. Why would he invite her on tour for a few days if he didn't want to spend time with her?"
It took a few seconds for me to put two and two together.
"By George, I think she's conned on. I'm so proud of our little girl growing up Austin."
Alan wipes away a fake tear. There was no way Vic invited Danielle at the exact same time as Kellin because he was scared of his real feelings for Kellin. Sure they'd kissed in the past and Vic came out as bi during high school, but he and Danielle were perfect for each other right?
"Kellic will be nothing more than fanfiction guys, now if you excuse me I have to say hello to my friend and my future sister in law."
"Which ones Kellin? I mean Vic clearly tops and when they get married Kellin could be your sister in law."
I shove Austin, "I'll tell you once I know babe, see you tomorrow."
I run off ignoring Austin's protests. I had to shake Kellic out of my head. Vic was happy with Danielle, but then why did he invite Kellin? I get to the bus in no time and fling open the door nearly colliding with Mike and Tony.
"Hold your horse's sis, what's the rush?"
"Is Kellin here yet? I need my Quinn time."
Mike nods and parts so I can scramble onto the bus. But before he and Tony can scarper off together I decide to mess with their heads.
"Where are you lovebirds off to?"
The looks on their faces were priceless, maybe I'd caught them in the act. Tony glances at Mike with pleading eyes which were kind of adorable, Tony was clearly the bottom.
"Err I'm going to hang out with All Time Low and Tony wants to check out some of the new bands."
I had to give Mike props for coming up with something on the spot. I wouldn't mind if they were secretly hooking up because they both seemed happiest when around each other.
"Well have fun you two, don't do anything crazy."
I wiggle my eyebrows before shutting the bus door in their faces. A pair of hands covers my eyes from behind making me jump out of my skin.
"That wasn't very nice little Fuentes, you scared the poor boys."
"Kelly."
I squeal and slap his hands away before turning and jumping into his arms. Kellin laughs and spins me around the lounge.
"Horizon I've missed you so much, we need to hang out more. And now I'm here."
"Excuse me Kellin but can you put her down, you nearly hit me with her legs. Tell them Vic."
Of course, Danielle had to put a damper on things, I loved her but she didn't like to have fun with me. Kellin rolls his eyes and I smack him across the back of the head as he lowers me down.
"Danielle long time no see, how's the modelling going?"
Danielle smiles and gets up to hug me.
"It's great Horizon, how are you coping? I haven't seen you since before you were admitted to rehab. Anyway, Vic and I are going on a walk."
I tense and lock eyes with Vic over her shoulder, he mouths 'I'm sorry' and I smile weakly before releasing Danielle.
"I'm great, no longer hooked on cocaine, in fact, I have a boyfriend."
"That's good Horizon but remember old habits die hard, hopefully, this new boyfriend keeps you on a tighter leash. I don't want another phone call off Vic panicking because you stole money from him. Now we really must go, come on Vic."
Danielle grabs Vic's hand and all but drags him off the bus before he could talk to me. She didn't have a filter when it came to other people's emotions. She couldn't see that I was clearly better, and the fact she had the nerve to bring up the time I stole money from Vic.
"Horizon don't believe her she's wrong. Come here, she's a bitch."
Kellin snaps me out of my own head and pulls me into a bear hug, we sit down on the sofa and he pulls me onto his lap. I couldn't keep the tears back and start to cry.
"Maybe this is all an act Kellin, I could be doing drugs behind everyone's back. I mean Vic thought I was when I hung out with some other band members. I also kind of think she's a bitch sometimes."
Kellin laughs and starts to stroke my hair.
"If you ever feel like your going to do something stupid call your best friend Kellin. Now let's get you out of these dumps and tell me some juicy gossip."
I was happy to have my gossip buddy back, and now I could get a second opinion on the whole Oliver Sykes might be my birth brother.
"You know I'm adopted Kellin well I think I know who my birth brother is. Everyone always jokes that I look like Oliver Sykes, well I think he might just be my brother."
Kellin's mouth opens and closes, it was quite a lot to take in. Plus I needed to share my suspicions with someone and I trusted Kellin. Kellin runs a hand through his messy hair before opening his mouth again.
"What makes you think that Horizon?"
I explain the bunny and Oli's reaction, right up until I overheard him talking to his band, as well as dropping the info that Vic didn't really want me hanging out with Oli with not so subtle looks. Kellin takes it all in while I wait for him to give me a straight answer.
"I say you ring up the orphanage and ask if your birth family left you anything Horizon. If they did then you need to know before you confront your brothers. It might also sound drastic but try and snag some of Oli's DNA and we get it tested against yours. Now any more life changing news Horizon?"
Kellin was right, the orphanage needed to be my first port of call, and if that failed then a DNA test would be the way to go. Now could I think of any more juicy gossip? Then it came to me about Mike and Tony acting odd, Kellin could be my partner in crime in setting them up.
"I think Mike and Tony are hooking up, they've been very quiet and always have an excuse to hang out together but not with the rest of the band. I questioned them earlier and Mike lied, I think they'd be cute together."
Kellin's face lights up and he claps his hands together like an excited child.
"Perrentes, I ship it. I'm here now Horizon and we'll get to the bottom of this together. I'll keep an eye on them tomorrow while you're out on your double date with my bae Austin."
I feel my cheeks blush when Kellin mentions Austin's name.
"Shut up Kells, will you help me pick an outfit?"
He leans over and squeezes my cheeks before pushing me off his lap.
"Let's get to choosing you a sexy yet classy date outfit. Let's show Austin what he's got while keeping you presentable for Ash and Chris. Chop chop baby Fuentes...or err Sykes...I'll just call you Horizon until we know the truth."
He prances towards the bunk area leaving me to follow behind him with a what the fuck look on my face, Kellin was a special kind of guy.
VIC
Danielle dragged me around the park near the venue, she'd hurled me off before I could check to see if my sister was okay. Danielle didn't have a filter but she didn't need to say any of those things in front of Horizon, especially bringing up the time I called her after Horizon stole money from me to buy drugs. Horizon had no setbacks since coming out of rehab because everyone was positive around her, but Danielle had to throw a tonne of negativity her way which concered me. Luckily Kellin was there to make her feel better.
"Err Vic...hello...are you listening to me?"
Daniella snaps her fingers in front of my face breaking me out of my thoughts, she looked annoyed.
"What were you saying, baby?"
"I swear you don't listen to me anymore Vic, I was talking about my modelling."
It was hard for me to not roll my eyes, Danielle was nice if you kept the conversation on her favourite subject, herself.
"I was thinking about my sister, you didn't have to say those things, Danielle. She hasn't touched anything since being out, and she has a job to distract her and a caring boyfriend."
"Vic she's grown up and needs to learn to take a joke, I wasn't being serious. Trust me she has wonderful Kellin there to save the day. Why did you even invite him on Warped?"
Of course, Danielle found a way to come across as selfish towards Horizon and jealous because of Kellin. I knew she didn't like him because one night Kellin and I got drunk and made out, little did she also know that we slept together. It was during the time we were both having relationship problems and sought comfort in each other. Now Kellin was single and I didn't want him getting depressed so invited him on tour because I care about my friends. Was I developing feelings for the raven haired boy? Maybe, but with Danielle's change in attitude who could blame me. I plaster on a fake smile and hold her hand.
"You're only here for a few days Danielle and I want to spend as much time with you as possible. Now let's continue our walk."
Danielle smiles and starts to drag me around again talking off my ear. I manage to fire off two messages, one to Kellin and the other to Horizon asking how they were. I got two very different responses.
Kellin: We're great, I'm currently playing dress up with Horizon as my doll and she loves me x
Horizon: HELP ME! I wish he'd go back in the closet, he's putting makeup on me brother...what cruel trick of nature is this?
I'd love to be back on the bus with them, but I had to keep my girlfriend entertained.
