One more night laying on my bed, staring at the ceiling in thought.
You'd think it's silent, but in my head it's nothing but loud, aching thumps.
Its not your fault, I know it's not. The pain was caused by my tears.
The tears that run down my cheeks, baring my pain, past and fears.
You throw some threats, one after the other, hoping they'd snap me back.
Little do you know that all they're doing is deepening the cracks.
I can't tell you, because in the end you won't believe me.
After all, why would your little girl think of permanently sleeping?
There's a lot you don't know, but then again you'd find out if you cared.
Have you ever rose my sleeve to check the quantity of my despair?
Have you ever checked my trash to spot the thrown away meals?
Or maybe checked my pill box, oh look, they've all disappeared.
