Gage sat in quite contempt
His Blair was sleeping in her dreams he was exempt
His mind racing to discover the truth
Why would heaven betray their youth
He knew he had to find a way
So he and Blair could live their days
In joyous peace that is being denied
By those that have constantly lied
He had to find the key the meaning of it all
But facing heaven and hell has him stalled
Which way should we go, when there's nowhere to turn
Are they doomed to fail and forever burn
He jerked his head high with a resolve set anew
She is his forever and nothing will undo
This steady feeling in his chest
Has become his beacon or his family crest
She will make it through this unscathed
That's the pact he has made
If he has to destroy all of creation to make it so
He'll hold it in his hands and watch the remains simply flow
He'll squeeze it so tightly that everything will condense
Engulfed in his rage only her love makes sense
He feels a sharp pain and looks around
His hand is outstretched with blood dripping down
His rage for that moment was so great
He snapped out of it, not a moment to late
"What has happened?" A soft voice called from the bed
"It's nothing my Blair." He replied as he quickly turned his head
"I have so much to tell you about the dream I just had"
She spoke of Self and all the things that went bad
"What does this mean?" He questioned as he looked deep into her eyes
"It means we have done this many times and we have both been told lies"
As she finished that comment it all range true
So many times she has lost this love remembering Selfs world anew
She wondered what had caused so much destruction and so much pain
Self made it seem like Gage was the center of this and had died in vain
