A smile tugs at the end of her glossed lips as she enters his room. She slowly and gently shuts the door behind her and approached him in his bed.
His face lights up as usual, his dull face brightening up. He swallows the lump in his throat and clears his dry throat, patting his lips.
He doesn't want to give her a chance to stop him from speaking to her.
"Hi"
He exhaled, using all his strength to talk since he hadn't been given any food for the past couple of days.
He feels oddly relaxed and relieved now.
As soon as he speaks, her eyes widen and she jolts towards him, her palm unintentionally slapped against his plump lips.
Her body is trembling and her heart is racing.
They must've heard him.
