I'm an INTP, and I often have problems with friends coming to me for advice on boyfriend issues. I have absolutely no idea how to give emotional support or advice, and end up just telling them generic, learned-off lines that have seemed to work in the past. I've also annoyed them quite a lot by correcting grammatical mistakes in their speech. It's just a habit, but they seem kind of annoyed by it. One of my friends always calls me antisocial, purely because i prefer to observe conversations rather than verbally engage in them.
