Everything seems so
distant
The memories fade but the pictures stay
They remind me of a time
when all was "okay"
Even then education was
irrelevant...
The happiness that was brought
Was what you believed in
The future wasn't important
What was important was the
now
I miss it dearly
And forever will...
But now it's time to do what
Civilization asks of you...
Survival
No matter what though,
I'll always be ready to live again
Because a smile is worth
more than the nearest
dollar.
