I sat all through 4th period waiting the bell to dismiss the basketball team. I couldn't wait to cheer my man on at this away game. Last night it totally slipped my mind that I had a game until I seen my gym bag packed by the front door this morning thanks to my aunt.
The bell finally rand dismissing the cheerleaders. I strutted to my locker and changed out of my pumps and into my kicks. It was game time. To my surprise my baby couldn't wait to see me either because when I closed my locker his fine ass was standing there with that pretty smile.
"Looking for me" he smiled tossing his home game jersey over my shoulder. The bell sounded off dismissing the students, letting us know the bus was about to pull off.
"Scooter go hold the bus, I need to use the bathroom." I said preparing to walk off.
"I got you love" he said taking off. "see you in a min baby" he shouted as he was jogging away"
I handled my business in the restroom and took off running towards the bus. I made it right when the driver was closing the door. I stepped on the bus and spotted scooter.
"damn baby I thought you was gone hold the bus" I said as he pulled me onto his lap.
"i tried, yo coach be trippin" he responded. "stop being late to every damn thing" he said smacking my thigh causing me to yelp. "shhhh" he said covering my mouth "you gone get caught girl"
I was pushing my luck playing around with scooter. We were playing an away game at a school that was pretty far out so we was riding for a min. Me and scooter playing around turned into horse playing on the boys side of the bus.
"Gomez! You were already late! Why are you not on your side of the bus" She yelled. "Its okay. Your out tonight. You would not be cheering."
"Coach forreal?" I spat back. "That's not even right I'm flying!"
"Not tonight" she said ending the conversation. My family is going to be pissed cause I was sitting out.
"I'm sorry skitz" Scooter whispered.
"Its not your fault" I said. He knows how much sports mean to me and my family. I rode the rest of the way in silence.
