REBECCA POV
FLASHBACK 1
"Mum!" I scream running out from my first day of 2end grade. "Hi sweetie!" I hug her as she picks me up.
"Ice cream?" I nod my head. "I bet I can beat you," She says putting me down. "Nope!" I say popping the 'P'. She laughs as we run across the street to the ice cream shop. "I want chocolate chip cookie dough," I say. "Ok two chocolate chip cookie dough." My mum says.
I love my mum. She is my hero.... I can't imagine not having my mum. She is my every thing. She sat next to me handing me my ice cream. "Yay!" I say starting to eat.
FLASHBACK 2
I was in my room reading. I loved to read! Expesialy when I'm stressed.
What am I stressed about?
Well my mom and dad got in a fight before my dad left 4 hours ago. He has not come back yet and that scares me.
1: He always comes back
2: My mom can't raise me I'm only 10 years old and she is always stressing over the little things I did.
I heard the front door open and I heard shouting and screaming. I open my door a bit looking down the hall to find my dad drunk cornering my mom with a gun.
He kept hitting her. I ran after her only for my dad to hit me. He didn't mean it. I hope. I cried in pain only to see my mom attack my dad and my dad shooting my mom.
Every thing went black. I heard some one say they would take care of me.
FLASHBACK 3
I sat in the Hostpital with my diary in my hand.
Dear diary,
Shelby says she is taking me to a adopting home. I'm being adopted.
I can't get that memory out of my mind.
My mums frunal is in 1 hour. They made me wear this dress.

I put my diary in the seat next to me.
We get to the place. I sit as they talk about my mum.
I start to cry. I sat in the back by myself. I torn out the paper to the song I wrote for my mom.
I run up there. People try to stop me but I keep going. Finally, I reach her coffin. I put the paper next to her a kiss her lightly.
My uncle yanks me back. "Bad girl!" I cry harder. "I want My Mummy!" I scream.
They ended early. I went to the bathroom then stop.
"That brat of theirs. Thank god she's going to get adopted/ foster care. What about her sister?" "Maya?" "Yea," "Maya's coming with me. She's an angel." "Hopefully were Becca's going they will teach her how to behave."
END OF FLASHBACK
I sit in my bed crying. I had a sister I never got to see. My family hated me. I was ugly.
I get up and throw the guitar. It breaks and I cry harder. It was my mums guitar. I run to it. "What's wrong with me?" I say.
I go to the bathroom. I find my razor. I cut my wrist. I cut another and another.
I see blood trickle down my arm. I rinse it off and go back to my room. I'm still crying.
I end up crying myself to sleep.
