Years may come and years go away,
But in my heart you will always stay
And you will forever be my friend,
All throughout and till the end.
Lift me up when I fall
Turn around and return my call,
It's a silent tear or an anguished shout
Let's stand together and put this out.
The world's so cruel – black and bright
I will be standing by your side.
Till you reach out and hold my hand –
For this is not real – built on sand!
