Ang's p.o.v
It's been about a week since I was diagnosed and have been on my medicine. For the most part I don't experience any side effects other than I can't take it on an empty stomach obviously like most pills .
I was currently laying in my bed when I got a call from August .
" hello "
" nothing laying down "
" yes I took my medicine " I finally said with an eye roll he does this all the time .
"Aye don't have an attitude wit me na' but you wanna go out ta'night ." He asked
" out like where cause my club days are over ."
" yea mine too but na like dinner ."
" okay that sounds good how should I dress ? Causal causal , sexy casual or sexy sexy?" I questioned
" what da hell is dat doin' by sayin da word twice ang ? but I guess sexy sexy man ." He said causing me to laugh
" okay papa what time ?"
" 8:37 "
" why so specific ." I said laughing
" just be ready man damn ." He said then hung up
Well that wasn't very nice .
Being that it was about 3 now I had time . I decided to call Milan cause I haven't seen her in a minute of corse I put her on about the whole situation but we haven't chilled.
The phone ranged and on the second ring she picked up .
" hey lan lan " I said
" hello angel " she said in a whining tone
" what's wrong ?"
" I'm fucking bloated and have cramps and I don't fuck with Chris right now what you need though? "
" why do I have to need something? And take some aspirin or something but I do need help with what to wear I'm going out to dinner tonight ."
" causal sexy ? Or sexy sexy? " she asked instantly
" that's what I asked august and he was so confused but he said sexy sexy , but not to over the top ."
" hmm ... what about that black jumper with the mesh in the front you picked up when we went to the mall a few months back . it's sexy cause it shows your goodies or whatever but it's not over the top or slutty ." She answered
" ooooh that's perfect cause I haven't worn that yet ." I exclaimed
" yea maybe you'll get a little play tonight if you know what I meannn ." She hinted
" shidd it's possible nah lemme stop ." I said
" okay I see you bihh tryna be grown and shit but on a serious note how are you feeling and be real ang. "
" since I've started the medicine a lot better and I've even gained a good 5 pounds back in a week. so I honestly can't complain and you already know aug is on my ass about it so no slacking over here." I said honestly
" that's good sis , ang I know you feel like you gotta handle certain stuff by yourself but you don't I'm always here real talk I don't wanna find stuff out after the fact you know ."
" I know lani I'm sorry I got you it's something I needa work on but imma get better at that ."
" alright ang I need to stuff my face and whine about being in pain to Chris so I love you call me about your date tomorrow."
" alright bye crazy . feel better , love you too."
And with that we hung up .
Time was approaching fast and I've still have yet to take my shower and stuff knowing aug is always on time .
I was on my bed when I decided to send a snap to aug .
Then I chatted him "can I just wear this?" 🤔
He didn't even snap me back I just instantly got a text .

I'm making him frustrated awwe.
I finally stopped playing all day and got in the shower and put some Shea moistures products in my hair .
I did my makeup and I kept it real simple so it wouldn't really take away from my outfit .
Before I knew it I got the " I'm bouta pull up text .
I got my bag and but any final touches on myself and you know I had to take a quick pic .
I walked outside and on cue aug pulled and got out and opened my door .
He looked so cute . He was wearing his hat looking like his name August Hendrix with a gray turtle neck shirt with a leather jacket and some burgundy pants .
" where we going ?" I asked
" jus sit back and relax mama." He said holding one of my hands while he drove with the other
We were driving for a little minute before we pulled up to a very expensive looking restaurant .
" Now you know I would've been fine with hibachi or something this place looks like a 5 star restaurant. " I complained
" with everything dats been goin' on I think dat we both needed dis so don't worry bout nothin' but enjoyin ya'self ."
" alright and you look very cute by the way ." I cooed only to earn a mug
" Ang a nigga grown as hell and you gon call me cute you could've called me handsome , sexy , fine shidd anything ."

" dats better and you look amazin' yourself when did you even get dat ? " he questioned
" a few months back when me and Milan was shopping ." I said as the waiter came
" hello my name is Johan and I will me your waiter can I start you off with anything to drink ?"
" can I have water please " I answered
" and for you sir ? "
" do you guys have Hennessy? " August questioned the man
What the hell he getting dark liquor for he know he be acting up when he on that shit .
" yes sir we do."
" ok I'll take some on da rocks please ."
" Do you guys know what would you like for your meals? "
" yes can I have the chicken pene ala vodka." I asked
" can I have a well done steak wit a loaded potato and instead of Broccoli string beans please . "
" sure , will that be all? "
" yea " we said in unison
" Alright I'm going to bring your drinks out as well as salad and bread ."
And with that he took our menu's .
While we waited me and aug had simple conversation .
" dis very off topic but are you wearing a bra?" His random ask causing me to roll my eyes
Of course he would ask that .
" really August , and their little tape like things ." I said rolling my eyes
" oh iight you look real good mama ." he said licking then biting his lip
" thank you ." I blushed
Shortly our food came and we began to eat and engage in normal conversation.
" can I get you guys anything else ? " Johan asked
" uhhh yea man can we get tha check."
" yes sir I'll be right back ."
" check already ? How you didn't know I wanted dessert ."
" I do too dats why we Leaving ." He said in a normal tone
When he said that my heart started beating fast and my eyes got big .
I didn't know if it was my hormones or me just thinking dirty but I feel like that had a double meaning.
" I saw ya face I was dead talking bout getting ice cream or something somewhere else you freak . " he chuckled
" oh ." I said embarrassed
" I mean but if you wit it a nigga wit it ." He said smirking
Shortly we payed and left .
" should I drive ?" I asked
" nah I got it I'm not faded or nothin' I only had one drink ."
" I'm not saying you faded but you I can tell you feeling good ."'
" I would've felt dat way wit a drink or not I'm with da girl on ma dreams ."
He had this look in his eyes . It felt like this man was staring in my soul or trying to at least .
" Alright let's go ." I said as aug put the money on the table and grabbed my hand
We walked to the car with our hands intertwined and I got in the drivers seat and he went in the passenger .
As we drove back to his place .
A good 20 minutes later we got there . We got out and walked in . When I opened the door I looked down to see rose petals on the floor . And as we approached the kitchen I saw a bunch or chocolate covered fruit.
I looked back at August who was slightly smirking .
" you think your so cute huh? " I said
" nah but you obviously do ."
" how did you manage to do this ? who helped? " I questioned
" come on na' a nigga know he a lil rough around da edges but I got a few romantic bones in ma body ."
He said grabbing a strawberry as he bit it .
Boy did he look good eating just imagine that visual .
" why you starin' at me like dat? " he asked
" I'm just amazed that's all I seriously appreciate this August."
" you know I got you plus wit all dis shit das been going on we needa dis ."
" we surely did , but come here." I motioned for him to come closer
He towered over me I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him wrapping my arms around his neck .
" I love you ." I mumbled into the kiss that started to get heated
He broke the kiss " I love you mo , but let's chill out ."
" for what?" I said placing kisses on his neck
" for we start something you not ready for ."
" I'm ready for whatever gonna happen." I said as I continued to kiss him
I was bold as hell but I honestly felt I was ready , and we needed to be connected on a deeper level.
Like I feel our relationship is too new for us to be beefing as much as we do .
"You sure? "
" yes aug I'm sure ."
" ang you know a nigga never been pressed I went 6 plus months without I can wait longa ." He assured
" I know and that's what I appreciate about you but I'm positive."
And when I said that everything began to happen fast . I don't even remember much but clothes coming off and me falling in deeper love with him .

I was starin' at a sleepin ang as I rubbed ha bare back .
Last night actually happened. Shid dat was a first fa' the both of us.
A nigga ain't never have no meaningful relations with a broad. All last night was love and then some .
" why you staring at me ? " she asked looking up at me
" good mornin' to you too ." I said
