The old woman walked in and gave Orla a foul look. My belly flipped as her eyes landed on me and I quickly looked to the floor. She waddled over to the table and began to look through a book that was in her hands. The old lady had long grey hair that was dead all the way too the top, her wrinkles showed the many years she had been in this world and her clothes showed just how little money she had.

She had a hard look to her face that made you automatically weary of her. But I couldn't help but feel sorry for this woman, god knows what Rhaegar said to her to actually get her to show up.

"Tell me," She said in an icy tone and looked at me. "Why am I here."

I didn't know what to say and I could feel my cheeks reddening with each second that passed. "I-I haven't," I stuttered and kept my eyes firmly on the stone floor.

"She hasn't bled for two months. She wanted to know why." Orla spoke up and I gave her a thanking smile, for not making me say it myself. I have to say over these last few months it is as if I have become a different person.

"Lay down on the bed." The old lady said and I quickly did as she told. I looked up at the ceiling and fiddled with my fingers as I laid there. I had never done anything like this before, normally it was just the maester who took care of my illnesses, not an old woman who I had never even met before.

"Have you given yourself to someone?" The old woman asked as she came to my side.

"No," I replied. "It was a few months ago when I did, but I lost the child from that." I replied and I could feel myself wanting to cry.

"You had a miscarriage?" She croaked and I nodded. "Well then, let me feel your stomach." And with those words she pressed her hands up against my stomach and pressed down. I wore my night gown so she cold feel it correctly, without a tight dress wrapped around my body.

She felt all over my stomach with a look of thought on her face. I looked to Orla who was giving me a worried look as she did so. The woman's hands kept pressing lightly, then hard in some areas and I couldn't help but wince sometimes when she pressed down a little too hard.

"Sit up." The woman demanded and I did. She looked my whole body up and down then pressed her hand upon my breast. My eyes widened at what she was doing and I quickly pulled away.

"What in the seven hells are you doing?" I snapped, but she replied with just an old crooked smile.

"You are a healthy girl, very healthy girl." She said and waddled over to the table where the book was placed.

"Is that all you have to say?" I was beginning to get angry at her as she didn't really speak much. She was acting like a crazy person.

I stood up and walked over to Orla who seemed to be in deep thought. She didn't look up at me, she kept her eyes firmly down.

The old woman then walked over to the door and I looked at her in shock. Was she seriously just not going to tell us why?

"You are with child, you didn't have a miscarriage."

The old woman's words made my whole mind and body freeze. The breath was wiped out of me and I could hear my heart beating rapidly.

After saying those words the old woman simply walked out of the door and left me and Orla stood in shock. Orla didn't move either, her eyes had widened and they were looking directly at me. I didn't know what to say or do. I had lost the baby. I had a miscarriage. It couldn't of survived, it wasn't possible.

"It's not possible." Orla mumbled and walked over to me. "It's not possible Lyanna."

"It must be. She said it was."

"Are you just going to believe something that a crazy old woman said?"

"Yes, Rhaegar brought her here because she was the best." I said and walked over to the table and sat down. I didn't know how to react to this, it sounded crazy. But beyond all the confusion that was evident now there was a slight edge of excitement within.

"Lyanna I watched you bleed out, a baby couldn't survive that." Orla said and took hold of my hands so that I would look her in the eye.

"Maybe my child is strong." I replied.

"Strong?" Orla laughed. "Seven hells Lyanna not even a strong child could survive that."

Her words sounded like the truth, but I couldn't help but believe the old woman. If she wasn't lying it would mean that I would finally have a child, one that would be mine and Rhaegar's.

"So if you believe her what are you going to say to Rhaegar?" Orla asked and I gave her a shrug.

"I'm not telling him, I'll only tell him when I'm sure of it."
