Someone: get off your phone
Someone: mr. hansons coming back soon
Me: wait are you here right now?
Someone: mhm
My head shot up as my eyes scanned the room. Everybody was working on the work Mr. Hanson had assigned us. Nobody was on their phone. Trying to pick out a single football player in the class was a struggle. I didn't know any of the guys. There was a total of eight– all of which were tall and muscular.
Someone: he's gonna tell you to read this out loud
Me: fine I'll put it up chill
Someone: good
Someone: just so yanno you glanced at me
I turned my phone off and got to work.
However, my phone continuously vibrated signaling new texts.
