~MARGARET's POV~
As we walked along the hallways, I didn't even realized that my grip to John's arms is too tight until he asked me
"Are you alright Margaret? You seemed too nervous?"
I just gave him a faint smile and just nod at him and he smiled back
I couldn't really tell how I really feel, I saw a lot of familiar faces
faces that I saw from way way back, the investors, businessmen, their relatives, close friends, but I couldn't see his family
I didn't even notice that my head was looking around and searching for some more familiar faces until John said to me
"Hey!, do you know some people in here? It seems that you're looking for someone?"
I just smiled again at him and told him "Uhm! Nope! Just looking around maybe there are famous artist in here and I want to take a picture with them" then I just laughed and he laughed with me
As we are heading to a table that was near the side of a stage were there are guitars, bass guitars, drums, piano, and microphone. I wanted to cry when I saw it, 'coz I knew that they are here and I really miss those people, but still I don't want to ruined my make-up so I just smiled as to what I saw, and well, how I really miss singing especially with them
As we are approaching near the table my heart beats really fast as Mr. Myers came to us
"Oh there he is, hi son! Glad you came here tonight, and who is this fine young lady with you?"
John gave his dad a hug and replied, "Hi dad! Yah I'm here it's because of you know who, and well, meet my date for tonight, Ms. Margaret Summers, Margaret meet my dad the famous George Myers"
I smiled at the Senior Myers and gave him a hand shake, luckily my hands were not really sweaty due to the nervousness that I had, but when he looks at me as if studying me from head to toe I can really feel that my heart was pumping faster, until he said something
"Hhhmmm! Summers? I think I've heard that before, but I couldn't remember, and you really looked familiar also"
OH MY GOSH!!!! my head wants to burst out and my heart wants to left out on my chest as I heard him say that, I was supposed to tell him something but John interrupted us
"Where's you know who dad?"
Phew! save by the bell
His dad looked at him as if telling him to not say that when there are other people in front of us until someone snap us into our own reverie
"Johnny! You really came here boy! Give Mommy a hug!"
"Mom!" John said with a little bit of annoyance in his voice to this fine and elegant woman in front of us, but still he hugs her, I giggled a bit and smiled at them
"George! Why you didn't tell me that John was here and.... Oh My! You got a date?!!!!!"
John wanted to run away when her mother said that in a high squeaky voice luckily no one can hear it due to the loud music also, wew!
"Yes Mother!" as he said in a sarcastic manner "this is Margaret Summers, and Margaret this my Mom, Elizabeth Myers"
I gave her a smile and lend my hand towards her but she just hugs me, aaawwww! John's mom is really sweet by the way, and actually she doesn't look old to me, and I think she's still in her 40's or something, she's really beautiful you know
"Thanks for being the date of my son Margaret, and are you engaged now?"
My eyes widened in shock and I can really feel that my jaw left hanging in the air that a fly can enter into it
"MOM! What are you thinking? NO! were not and she's my friend okay? Geez!"
Mrs. Myers wants to talk to his son but Mr. Myers cut them off
"Okay! can we just sit right now and just enjoy the night shall we?"
Phew! That was close, I thought that this day wouldn't end with Mother and Son fighting, I wonder how Mr. Myers handle this kind of situation Hhhmmm!
We were all seated on our sits and John asked me if I wanted to have any drinks, I told him I just want to have a glass of sauvignon blanc and he just nods at me
I was still looking around at the area and I really couldn't find anyone especially the guys, how couldn't they not be here? It's their "BRAH"(short for brothah, and that was the name that they gave to him) that was married tonight? And I didn't even see the face of his sister and parents? Hhhmmm!
"Miss me?" I jumped a little bit to the voice and smiled
"My gawd Myers! You frightened me!" and I lightly slap his arm
"Ei! Margaret watch it, your drink would fall on my hands"
"Oh sorry John!" and I smiled at him
When he already placed his wine on the table he sat beside me and asked me something
"Margaret, do you know some of this people? It seems that you're looking for someone, and I think I already questioned you twice this night?"
I smiled at him and told him, "Ahm! I was just wondering about the bride and the groom, it's as if I couldn't see them, where are they by the way?" nice job Margaret, excuses! Excuses! But it hurts to say that
"Actually, I heard that it was time for the bride and groom to have their first dance as a couple, but the bride doesn't want to do it"
"Huh? Why? That's not right, they should do their first dance as a couple together"
"They said that the bride was waiting for someone, I think it was the singer but they said that they never saw the singer like almost a year now"
I gave him a questioning look and told him "Really? Why was that?"
"I just also heard not that I'm being nosy or eaves dropping any way that the singer was the brides close friend and she promised the bride that when she gets married she will be the one to sing the couple song for them, or on their wedding, something like that"
I was suddenly froze at my sit and asked him
"Ahm! John you said that the son was getting married tonight haven't you?"
He giggled a little bit and told me, "Actually Margaret I was wrong, it was the daughter"
Oh My glory!!! And I thought it was him that was getting married tonight, I somehow felt relieve at what he said and told him immediately
"John can I go at the ladies for a while?"
"Yah sure!"
And I headed straight towards the ladies room
At the ladies room I went quickly inside at the vacant cubicle and locked it, I heaved a big sigh and deep breathe, even if it's a ladies room it smells good in here, hello? five star hotel
All this time, I thought that it was him that was supposed to get married tonight, and I was pacing back and fort into the cubicle even if it got a little space on it, I just really couldn't believe as to what I heard, I want to jump for joy and anything but I couldn't
As I was about to unlock the cubicle, a realization just suddenly hit me
I was supposed to be the one that's going to sing the couple song tonight, I promised Andrea before I left Sydney, that when she saw her one true love in her life, I would love to sing for them on their wedding day
Again, I kept pacing back and forth at the cubicle, if I would sing for them? I will reveal myself to their family, relatives, and so much more, urgh! This frustrates me a lot, but then again, a promise is a promise, I am not like the others that's going to break their promises, and more likely Andrea is more than a friend to me, she's a sister, even if there's something between me and her brother
I just took a deep breath again and decided to do the right thing...
I went out on the ladies and look for John but he was talking to someone I think it's a businessman or something, so without a doubt I went straight to the stage even if this makes my life complicated again, I smiled at the people playing at the piano and the violin, and told them
"Hi! I was the singer for the couple dance tonight"
And they just smiled at me, as if they are so relieved when they saw me, and the violin player points at the microphone and told me to go on the stage
I smiled at her and said thank you, Okay! This is it! I really need to do this, it's a promise that I should do so that everyone will be happy
As I was about to say something the microphone was off and when I turned it on it made a feedback and everyone noticed it, wow what a great entrance I've got there, and there was silence all over the place, even the crying kids was silent at what I did, ooohhhh! The twins, and I didn't even noticed that the spotlight was on me, Oh gawd! I didn't expect this to happen, I just want the bride to be happy on her especial day, so here goes nothing
I was really trembling, like seriously! First time in my life I was trembling infront of many people and I was a singer right? But right now I felt that it was my first time to sing again, so okay! I just took a deep breath again and smiled at the people around me and started to talk
"Uhm! Hi everyone!" I can sense that my voice was cracking a little so I gulped some of my saliva even if its gross and started talking again
"It's a beautiful night we've got here right? A perfect night to have a wedding" still there was silence, I looked at the other side of the stage and saw the parents of the bride and how I want to hug them so tight, I really missed them, then I looked at the center and I saw some of my bandmates, I even saw my gay best friend and the wedding coordinator was my girl best friend here in Sydney, and you guessed it right guys, shocked was painted all over their faces, I wanted to laugh at their expressions but I still kept my professionalism as a singer
"so before I start, may I call the lovely newly weds tonight? because as what I have noticed it's supposed to be the couple dance, their first dance as a couple" everyone was I think gossiping something and then I saw Lance pulling the bride outside a room, Andrea was surprised at what she saw and came running towards her parents and also Lance
"Oh there she is! the beautiful bride" then much to my surprise I saw Lance holding Andrea's hands and lead her towards the dance floor
Wait a minute? So this two? They are the newly weds? Gawd! I couldn't believe it! This two are like cats and dogs when they are together, and they ended up with each other? Okay! Fine! I really! really! really! Believe now on the saying the more you hate, the more you love
Lance was also my band mate, and well, his your typical guy next door that every girl would fall for, but look at him now, he's already tying a knot to the most beautiful girl that I know inside and out, he's really a lucky dude... hehehe!
I just smiled at them and said to them "And also our handsome groom, so can we clap our hands to the newly weds" And so the people clapped their hands, obedient crowd aren't they, and it's starting to get silent again
"Before I will start singing I would like to give a message to the newly weds" The two couple was just looking at me as if that I was risen back from the dead, and right at this moment I really wanted to cry but I can't, it will be awkward, especially when the Myers is around
"Congratulations, to the both of you, and may you hold on to the vows that you gave to one another, may your marriage life prosper, and may you have a team of football players" and the crowd laughs at my last statement
"I wish you happiness and may you always understand each other, because the key of a good marriage is just understanding, even if there are circumstances in your way you should always understand each other and always remember the things that why you fell in love right at the first place" and that's when Andrea cried and Lance just wiped her tears, aaawww! I never thought that Lance could be so sweet
"So right now, I am going to sing a song for all of you, and as far as I can remember I promised someone that when she saw her one true love and get married, I would sing for them both, and as a wedding present here it is" I smiled at Andrea and she smiled back and so does Lance
I went to the violin player and told her the song that would be played, she smiled at me and nods at me, and she told the piano player as well, then she started playing

As I was about to sing the chorus I heard strumming of the guitar, I turned to whom was playing and I saw Caleb he just give me his signature smirk and I just smiled at him

Upon going on to the second stanza I then heard the banging of the drums, I was shocked and looked who was banging it and I saw Michael, he just lifted his other drumstick at me, I really wanted to cry but still I was singing and this night should be a memorable night for the couple

I was watching the newly weds as they danced to our song, they really looked so happy and I felt this night was really a magical night, I really can't help myself but to smile and my heart was really glad, singing for them, and for all the people here tonight with my bandmates, it was really amazing, and I really miss this, singing infront of a crowd with them

Still the music and my singing kept on going and going and the newly weds kept on dancing while the bride was really crying, and I do hope those tears are tears of joy, and I just smiled at them and also at the guest

Then I heard the strumming of the electric guitar and I already knew who's that person is with that kind of strumming , I just closed my eyes first then opened it and turned to that person and that smile I miss that smile, it's Darren

And as the music was finally over I immediately went down to the stage, saying thank you to the violin and piano player, I just gave a smile to my band mates and walk as fast as I can
And as I was about to get down a hand was infront of me as I look whose hand was it, I smiled and he smiled to
"You know I never be this kind of gentleman to anyone else"
I took his hand and went down to the stage and told him with a giggle
"Yah right! You're Mojojojohn as far as I can remember... Hahahah!"
Then we laughed together

Weeeeeeeee!!! I can't believe it! I made a long update! hahaha! but still thanks for all the people who supported my story! I really love you guys! And this is just the part 1 of the wedding... the part 2 will be uploaded soon... SSSSSOOOOOONNNN!!! HAhahaha!
I felt like I was Margaret in this story... I was also nervous while making this one... hahahaha!
