Once we intend or provoke harm,
An infliction of deep wound appears on the arm.
Out of nowhere, blood is smeared, across the fragile skin,
Red drips on the concrete, and head starts to spin.
Our words cause impact, on a defenceless soul,
At times, our actions we attempt to control.
For another time we harm one, with words or an action,
A scar appears, as an involuntary reaction.
A scar for you,
A scar for me,
A scar for us,
Involuntarily.
Some may be ignorant of others torment,
Therefore a scar is given for realisation and regret.
My heart seeks out a golden soul,
The epitome of selflessness, and needs not be told.
A scar for you,

Eternally.
