He looked up to see Sammy standing over him. He nodded rapidly. "You don't look it. You've gone all pale."
"W-what? N-no, I'm fine." He took a nervous glance down at his phone screen.
"Cody. Is there something you're not telling me?"
Sammy looked down at his phone. "Whats this?" He grabbed his phone and read through the messages, his mouth open in shock. "W-who is this?"
By this point Sammy was raging with anger. Cody shrugged, "I don't know. I'm sorry."
Jace and Ezra walked down the stairs. "Whats happening?" They saw how distraught Cody was and immediately rushed to his side. "Whats wrong? Do I need to go back to the school?"
Yes, this had happened before. Two years ago, when Cody was 12, he got bullied and went into a stage of depression. A group of four boys bullied him so Jace and Ezra went to the school. They beat the four boys up and ever since then they hadn't bothered.
