You slammed the car door and stomped up to the front door in your heels, still fuming about work. You fumbled with your keys when the lock didn't turn, and just as you were about to let out a long string of curse words, Gally opened the door for you. He grinned and leaned in to give you a kiss as soon as you walked in the door, but you weren't in the mood. All that was on your mind was getting your makeup off, putting on an over sized t shirt, and climbing into bed to binge watch Y/F/S.
Gally followed you up the staircase, your heels and sweater that you had discarded at the door collected in one arm. He watched you from the door as you opened a drawer to get your shirt, and then struggled to shut it from the overflow.
"JUST SHUT ALREADY!" you screamed at the dresser, slamming in the drawer once again. Gally sighed, but did not intervene when you stormed to the bathroom. Once inside, you knocked over various bottles on the sink, all by accident, but aggravating you all the same.
"Y/N?" Gally gently called, knocking on the bathroom door. Some of the anger building up inside melted away as you remembered that who you were really angry at was your boss, and not your fiance. Shamefully, you picked up the bottles you had knocked over, and opened the door.
"Bad day at work?" he asked warily, looking around trying to find the cause of the noises. You nodded and collapsed against his chest, closing your eyes and trying to relax.
"All I want to do right now is get into bed and watch way too many episodes of Y/F/S," you mumbled into his shirt. Gally began to rub your back with both hands. "Am I invited?" he asked.
You glanced up at him and couldn't stop yourself from smiling. "Of course," you replied, reaching up on tiptoe to give Gally a kiss.
"Here," Gally said, as he maneuvered you around the sink and motioned for you to sit down on the edge of the tub. "You just sit here, and I'll take off your makeup for you. Just relax and focus on me, nothing else."
Gladly, you sat down and took a deep breath. Gally moved around the bathroom, grabbing a wash cloth and soaking it in warm water, locating your bottle of makeup remover, and grabbing a rubber band from a cabinet. He came over to you and reached around your head to tie your hair up, close enough so that you could smell his aftershave. Your heart thumped in your chest, and even though you had known Gally for years, you felt as giddy as when you first began to date.
Using the wash cloth he gently removed all of your foundation, kissing the tip of your nose multiple times throughout the process. Gally then took the makeup remover and dampened a tissue before gently taking off all of your eye makeup, being especially careful not to rub too hard.
"Come on love, let's get you ready for bed," Gally whispered, pressing a kiss to your cheek and taking your hands to lead you out of the bathroom. He helped you out of your blouse and skirt, and then took off the shirt he was wearing to slide it over your head. He then grabbed the remote, turned the lights off, and took his jeans off before settling into bed next to you.
All of the remaining tension gathered in your head faded away instantly when Gally moved closer to you, resting his head on your chest and bringing his hand up to trace circles on your thigh.
