You know when you're drinking water and when someone tell you something so incredibly shocking and crazy, you spit it out with such a craze reaction and coughing, but you don't even care cause of what you just heard is so shocking?
Well, if I was drinking water right after Xander said that, everyone would be looking at me like I was crazy. But no, I sat in the same spot...my moth hanging open...and I didn't know what to say or react to that.
Lucas was the same way. He froze right in his chair, looking at both Xander and Bethany. He looked like someone just flipped a switch and Lucas turned off. He wasn't blinking or doing anything, but looking.
Xander just rolled his eyes and lifted his hand up and looked down at his nails like they were the most interesting things in the world--something King Luka would do. Bethany was still twirling her hair around her index finger and she bit down on her lip harder, anxiously waiting for him to respond.
Lucas started laughing and we looked at him like he was crazy. He got up from the chair, "That's a nice joke, you two.", he said and continued to laugh.
"We aren't joking.", Xander said. He looked at Bethany, "Told you he would believe us.",
"Shh, Xander.", she said, waving him off. "Prince Lucas, I know this does sound crazy--oh, no.", she said, her hand flying to her mouth. "King Luka never told you about his affairs.",
Lucas frowned down at her, "I know about his affairs, but none of his affairs came forward.",
"See, our mothers were best friends. King Luka--our father, met Xander mother first in 1804 on Undecim then a few months later, he went after mine. Yelena didn't know she was pregnant until he left her. Xander was born three months later, but my mother was already a month half pregnant with me. But again, he moved on before he could ever find out. Then your mother finally got pregnant wit you in 1807.", Bethany explained.
Lucas pressed his lips together tightly, "This--this can't be true.", he said coldly. "If that is true, why now? Why didn't they come forward when asked to.",
"Because our mothers were scared. They were young and didn't know what to do. They thought they were protecting us.", she said.
"Protecting you? What in the world from what?", he asked.
Xander looked up from his nails, "You wouldn't get it, Lucas. You're the heir, not us. We're bastards. Do you know how hard it would be for us? To be known as the King illegitimate children? It was already hard being known as some other guys bastard, but being known as the king would be much harder and humiliating. Even, our mother saved your father also from humiliation. You had the perfect family, we were stuck with the single mothers.",
"I still refuse to believe it.", Lucas said.
Xander got up from the chair and I noticed they were the same height, but Xander was a little more built, "How hard is it to believe?", he asked calmly. "Our father was an asshole. He's a good king, but a shitty father. You know this since you actually grew up with him. You may not want to believe this, but it's true. Our mothers had their innocents until our father came around and took them.",
Lucas angrily pressed his lips together and set forward to get in Xander face, "I don't believe you.", he dangerously whispered in a cold tone. Lucas turned around and walked up to the entrance of the palace.
"How about a DNA test?", Xander called out and Lucas stopped and turned around. His eyebrows forward together in confusion. "If your 'daddy' gets here, Bethany and I will take some of our blood and some of his. I can easily find out if we're also his kids or not. Simple as that. If we're not, we'll apologize and leave you alone. Deal?",
"And if you are?", Lucas asked.
"Well, nothing will be different. Bethany and I already know King Luka will want nothing from us.", Xander said.
"We just wanted the truth to come out.", Bethany said. "We don't want to be hidden a secret anymore. I'm not talking about coming public, but you and our father deserves to know about us.",
Lucas hesitated as he went into thought about this. He didn't looked happy either. All of this is so...crazy. First it's Xavienna coming out, then Wilhelm, Samuel and Wilhelm disappearing again, and now these two are coming out about being his brother and sister. Damn, this is so crazy. This family is crazy, actually.
"Fine.", Lucas said, reaching behind his pocket and pulled out his cell phone. He pressed a few button and I saw Bethany hands shaking. "Hey, you need to get back here.",
"Why, what's wrong?", King Luka asked in a bored tone. "What did you do now, Lucas?",
Lucas rolled his eyes, "Of course you suspect me of doing something wrong. Nothing, father. Just turn the limo around and come back. It's important...something your not going to believe just happen when you left.", he said, looking at Xander with a glare, which Xander happily returned.
Well, this is going to be one family reunion.

Lucas and I were standing outside his office as Xander was fixing some stuff up in there with Bethany. Lucas had his arms crossed over his chest as he stared angrily at the floor as we waited for King Luka.
I touched his arm, "Are you okay, Lucas?", I whispered to him.
He looked down at me, "No, Doe.", he whispered back, but hissed it and my body jerk. "What if they are my other siblings?",
I shrugged, "If they are, it is what it is. You can't change the past--defiantly not your fathers.",
"He acts just like him.", he said, pointing right in the room. "Just like my father. A hot headed, sarcastic, egotistical, think-he's-all-bad ass.",
Xander stepped out of the room and scowled at him, "I can hear you, you know.",
Lucas leaned up from the wall, "I know, but you can't do nothing about it.", he said, stepping up to get in his face again.
"Better step back, baby brother--",
I put one hand on each other they're chest and pulled them away from each other, "Okay, that's enough! You both are acting like children!",
"What's the real reason you here, Xander?", Lucas asked and raised an eyebrow. "Trying to becoming something? King?",
Xander snorted and rolled his eyes, "Hardly. I love my life how it is. I have a descent life with a wife and a child. I don't need this life. This is all on Bethany.",
Lucas eyes widen, "Wh-what? Did you say you have a child?",
"Yup.", he said, popping the 'p' and went back in to finish. "Your an uncle."
Bethany stepped out this time, "Sorry about him. He is pretty hot headed. It was so hard growing up with him.", she said and rolled her eyes, but smiled. "He's just protective...of me. He doesn't want me to get hurt.", she said and we herd him snort.
"Are you guys sure your King Luka children?", I asked. "I mean, are your positive?",
She nodded, "Yes. Our mothers never had sex before and King Luka was they're first. Back then in ninth century, the same rules follow here. You have to wait until your married for you first...unless you're a man.", she said and rolled her eyes again. "Sadly, the results of our father actions were us.",
"Do you know if there is others out there?", I asked.
She shook her head, "Their only me and Xander. Xander would have been able to tell since he can smell the scent on people more better then a normal vamp. It's only me and him.",
I just nodded and we all stood there in awkward silence until we heard King Luka voice, "I told you before Rhys, I want the donation to the orphanage charity to be settle by Queen Arabella. She wanted to take part in this one, so ask her.", King Luka came in voice and he was holding onto the ear piece in his ear. Bethany nervously smiled, but her hands shook together as they played with each other. She was shaking all over though in nervousness.
"I don't care, give her the papers. She wanted to handle this so give her the papers to sign. Only one of us needs to signs, for Lords sake, don't be such an idiot.", he said and took the ear piece out of his ear. While he was stuffing the ear piece in his cost pocket, he raised an eyebrow at the nervous Bethany, "Um, are you okay, young lady?",
She nodded twice, but kept quite. Xander came up to the door and leaned against the frame boredly, "All set up.",
"Lucas, what is going on?", King Luka asked, his eyebrows forwarding together.
Lucas hesitated, but took a deep breath, "Father, this is Bethany Mead and her half-brother, Xander Lewis.",
King Luka shoulders jerks, "What?",
"Meet your possible other children.", Lucas coldly said as he leaned back on the wall and crossed his arms over his chest, but this time, his glare was turned to his father.
King Luka froze as he stared at Lucas confusion. Lucas just nodded and looked back down at the ground. "U-um,", he said, waking up and running his hand threw his hair as he looked at them. "Um, I mean, uh-",
Bethany finally spoke, "I know, this shocking, but I just wanted to meet you and-",
"You have me mistaken, young lady.", King Luka said quickly.
She frowned, "No I don't. My mother was Catherine Mead. You surly remember her.",
King Luka shook his head, "No--no, I don't know no women by that name.",
Bethany mouth dropped a little, "Bu...bu...", she stuttered and her eyes watered up.
"Told you Bethany.", Xander said, leaning up from the wall and taking his sister in his arms. "I told you he was going to reject us.",
"I am rejecting no one.", King Luka said. "If you were my children, I would have known sooner. I sent letters out to the women I been with and none of them came forward with any children. You both are liars.",
"I always knew you were an ass, but to say we aren't is horrible. I'm very much like you and Bethany is very controlling. Our mothers were doing you a favor by not coming to you since it would have brought humiliation to yourself. What would you have done if they did come forward?", Xander challenged.
King Luka scowled at him, "I would suggest you don't get smart with me. I am still your King.",
Xander scowled back, "Just answer the question, my king.",
King Luka pressed his lips together and breathed out his nose heavily, "I would have made you both were provided and taken care of.",
"Would you have acknowledged us as yours?", Xander asked and arched his eyebrow at him.
King Luka looked taken back, "Uh-",
"Exactly.", Xander said and Bethany stepped back and ran her hand threw her hair. "We're going to take a DNA test. That'll show if we're you kids or not.",
King Luka hesitated for a few moments, but slid his jacket off as he said, "Fine, lets get this over with.", he coldly said as he stepped into the office. We followed behind and set us on Lucas desk was some kind of machine, a microscope, vials, a few needles, and gloves.
"Okay," Xander said. "I'm going to take the three of ours blood and put it in this vials. I'll put the vials in this machine and it'll spine the blood around and do other stuff. I purr some of each our blood on a scope and we'll see if our blood matches up or not.",
King Luka just nodded and rolled the sleeve of his shirt up. As Xander got the needle, I turned to Lucas who was leaning on a book shelf. "Everything going to be fine.", I whispered to him.
He wrapped one arm around me and pulled me close to him as he watched, "I know.", he whispered back.
"If they turn out to be your brother and sister, you shouldn't hate them.",
He looked down at me, "I know and I wont. It's not them I'm mad at.", he said. "I'm just--how you would say--freaking the heck out about all this.",
"I know this is can be somewhat scary. Finding out you have a brother and another sister isn't the easiest thing in the world, Lucas. But they're here now and you always said you wonder about if you did. You were in the hospital all this time and your brother took care of you.", I told him.
He ran his hand down his face, "All of this is so confusion.",

After Xander was done taking his, King Lukas's, and Bethany blood and have it in the machine, he held two vials up, "This is Bethany and your.", he said and he purred a drop each of Bethany and King Lukas's blood in a glass slide and slid it under the microscope. He did a few adjustments to it.
I looked over at King Luka who was leaning against the bookshelf as he watched Xander back. I was shocked to see he was actually nervous. He was bitting down on his nails and trying to act cool, but I could see he was terrified of also knowing the truth.
I looked over at Bethany and I actually did a double take see she was also biting down on her nails, but just with her right where King Luka was biting down on his left.
Xander stepped back and looked at King Luka, "Tell me what they look like.",
King Luka hesitated, but stepped forward and looked down at the eye holes of the microscope. He looked for about five seconds before leaning back up, "Um," he said, clearing his throat, "they look the same.",
Bethany breathed out like she was holding it in the whole time and a smiled appeared on her face, "I spent all my life wonder who was my other half. It just feel good to know who my father is instead of wondering if you actually were.",
Xander put a drop of his blood on a new slide and a drop of King Luka's and slid them under the slid. Xander leaned down first. A moment later, he leaned back up with a force smile and patted King Lukas's shoulder, "Hello, pop.", he said and walked over to one of the chair and threw his body down on the chair.
Again, King Luka hesitated as he stared down at the floor until he finally leaned down and looked in the microscope. He then leaned back up a moment later and sighed as he ran his hand threw his hair, "Okay...this can be handled.",
"Handled?", Xander, Bethany, and me questioned in confusion. What the hell is he talking about?
King Luka put on his usual I-Don't-Care look and leaned against the desk, "How much money do you both want to keep your mouths shut about this?",
In lighten speed, Xander was up from the chair, "Nothing! We wont nothing from you!",
Bethany went up to him and put her hands on each side of his face and closed her eyes. Xander eyes shut tightly and he fell on his knee as he scream, "Ahh!". She took her hands away and stepped back, "Damnit! I hate it when you do that, Beth!",
I leaned up to Lucas, "What did she do?",
"Iluzion, it's Albanian for illusion. She made him think he was in pain.", he answered.
"I'm sorry, Xander.", Bethany said. "But you shouldn't forget who you're talking too! He's still our king and I don't want you to go to jail for your mouth which wont ever shut up! Think of your wife and Lillian.",
He breathed out his nose heavily, "You could have just said something instead of making me think my head was going to explode.",
"Well," she said, shifting her weight on one foot with an innocent voice, "Your really hot headed and I doubt I could have said anything to shut you up. I'm sorry, I love you, but do you ever think before you speak? How can Abigail live with you?",
He grin, "Fighting make the sex hot.",
She dropped her head in frustration and groan. I was in total shock. He's just like Lucas and King Luka! Oh, jeez. Not another cocky hot headed stubborn man in the family. It's like it runs in the genes or something in the men.
Bethany turned around, "Sorry about him, he's a pain to live with sometimes. Anyways, I'm going to say this in a nice way." she said, turning her head around and glared at Xander quickly before turning her attention back to King Luka.
"We don't want anything from you. This was all my idea. I just wanted to know if you were really my father. I spent my whole life only ever wondering if you were or not. Xander didn't want me to do it alone since we are close. Our mothers--well, they're weren't happy with us and said we should just leave you alone, but I couldn't! I'm sorry if this is upsetting you, but I just had to know. I'm not talking about having a relationship with each other, but just for you to know that you do have other children.", she finished.
Well, she was handling this surprising well. She had so much confidence and the way she was talking seems very business like. She reminded me of so much of King Luka now with her head held up and showing no fear or nervousness.
King Luka nodded his head real slowly, "So...you really don't want anything?", he asked and she nodded. "Sorry, I just...assumed.",
"We were fine without you before, we don't need you now-ahh! Beth, stop it!", Xander yelled when she reached behind her and grabbed his wrist. "Fire? Really?",
She ignored him, "I know you already know this, but you don't have to tell Queen Arabella or anyone else. We will be on our way now, my king.", she said, turning around and they both made they're way to the door.
I just felt like this was wrong. King Luka should be in his other kids life, not just brush them off his shoulders like they were nothing but a spike of dust. "Wait," I said, stepping forward. I felt King Luka and Lucas eyes on me as they turned around confused, "You both--you both should come to the wedding! I can give you both invitations. We already sent them out a long time ago, but my friend Kayla still has a bunch. If you just wait a second--",
Lucas cut me off, "Dorinda, I don't think my father will want them-",
I turned my head around, "I want them there, Lucas.", I told him and he sighed in annoyance.
"Lady Dorinda, that's okay.", Bethany said. "We came to do what we wanted and I-",
I stepped forward with a smile, "I insist you guys come and Xander, you can bring your wife and--I'm sorry, you didn't say if you had a daughter or son.",
"I have a daughter.", he said, but he was in total shock at my need to have them at the wedding.
"Bring them both!", I said excitedly. "Yes! The more the merrier--Lucas, what are you doing?", I asked when he grabbed my upper arm and pulled me out of his office and down the hall a little.
"Dorinda, we have to talk about this.", he whispered to me. "Don't you think you should talk about this with me? What if I don't want them there? It is my wedding to.",
I frowned up at him, but knowing he's right. I should take in his feelings to. Sure, he doesn't hate them but it is probably just awkward being in the same room as them. I sighed, "You right, Lucas. I'm sorry. You know me...act before thinking sometimes.",
He nodded and his right side of his lip twitched, "Yeah, that's starting to become a annoying habit.",
I pressed my lips together tightly and hit his arm, "Shut up!",
He chuckled and took my hand and pulled me into him and kissed me. When he was about to pull away, I wrapped my hand around his neck and kissed him a little hard. He chuckled in amusement and pulled away, but brought his head down to say in my head, "Just can't keep your hand off me, can you? And I thought I was pushy.",
I pushed him away, but he only step backwards as he chuckled. I hit his arm, "Jerk.",
"I'm just playing, Doe.", he said, continuing to laugh. "It's cute and I could just imagine that pretty rose color blush appear on your cheek. I will never forget them.",
I frowned and he looked down at me confused, "Which one do you like better?", I asked softly. "Old me...or new me?",
"Doe, I don't follow.", he said, frowning.
"Which one do you love more? Human me or vampire me? How hard is the question?", I asked. "Which do you really want me to be?",
He stepped back closer to me, filling the space, "Why are you asking me this? I love how you are now.",
"You sure?",
He sighed and ran his hand down his face. "Dorinda, I'm going to admit this to you. Yes, I do miss you being human, but do you know what I wont ever miss? Being afraid of you crushing you when holding you and worrying about being near you when I'm hungry. I love how I can be around you and hold you how I want in my arms and not hearing your voice hitch. I love how you can almost make me fall when you jump up and hug me. How your lips don't feel like fire next to mine and mine not feeling like a block of ice. I loved you humanity, but I love your vampirism side more now.",
I gave him a small close mouth smile and he smiled back at me.
He took my hand, "Dorinda, you were one of the few things I got right in my life. I promise to be all the thing you want since you already did everything I want and need.",
I gave him a one side grin, "You can be cheesy sometimes, Lucas. But you do say the sweetest things.",
He gave a long sigh, "Well," he said, throwing his arm around my shoulders, "Sweet talking pretty ladies runs in family.",
"What am I ever going to do if we ever have a son? You mother right, the Silva men are so hard.", I chuckled.
He grinned, "You mean when. And don't worry, you'll always be on your feet.",
I patted his chest, "I'm very sure about that, to.",
He chuckled, "Come on, lets get back. They can come.",
I smiled, "Not to sound like a messed up, but they were going to come anyways.",
