Anna's Pov

I woke up the sound of a heart monitor and I was in a hospital bed. It was cold in the room and it was what I thought was morning.

The nurse came in.

"Goodmorning, Anna." She said with a tray of food.

"Goodmorning," I said as she set the tray next to me, "Thank you."

"You're welcome." She said and she left the room, but before she left she said, "You have a visitor."

A visitor? But Who?

Then I saw Ace... His hair was messed up and he was still in his suit. He looked exhausted.

"Hey." I said.

"How are you?" He said.

"I'm fine, I guess, were you here the whole time?" I said.

"Yeah.. I was making sure you were okay." He said.

I remembered that he told Elizabeth that she was in his mind.

"I can't believe you." I said.

"What?" He said.

"Elizabeth! You still love her." I said.

"My eyes are only set on you. No one else!" He said raising his voice.

I looked away from him.

"I promise you." He said.

Then someone else came into the room.

Austin...

"Yo Anna!" He said coming in.

"Hey Austin." I said with a smile.

"How are you?" He said.

"Great." I said.

"How'd you know I was in the hospital?" I said again.

He pointed at Ace, who was sitting there trying to stay awake.

"He was freaking out and telling me that you were hurt badly." Austin said.

I looked at Ace. He was sound asleep.

"Sh." I said pointing at Ace.

"Oh," Austin chuckled and lowered his voice.

Austin turned the tv on and it was the news.

"You know... I still want to take you out sometime." Austin said.

"As friends?" I said.

"Yeah!" He said.

"Okay." I said laughing and looked at the tv and there was a picture of Elizabeth on the screen.

"Turn it up!" I said startling Austin.

He grabbed the remote and turned the volume up.

"'Sixteen year old, Elizabeth Cortez missing since last night at a restaurant called 'Weight Tross' Last seen with Chris Peterson.'"

Then the camera was turned to Chris.

"Yeah, she told me she was going to the bathroom and... S-She didn't come back when the man told me the restaurant was closing." He was crying, at least I think he was.

"Jeez.." We both turned to Ace, he was listening to the whole thing.

"Come on... Chris was fake crying, she might be faking her 'mysterious disappearance'" Austin said.

"True... But why would Elizabeth go missing after last night?" Ace said.

"She did it for attention?" I said.

Austin got up, "I'm thirsty. Be right back." He left.

"How was your little nap?" I asked Ace.

"Good-" Austin came in and interrupted Ace.

"They brought Elizabeth in... On a gurney." Austin said.
