I'm forced to hide
All I feel
I'm forced to smile
Even if it's not real
Because their scary eyes
Through my skin they burn
Making me feel nervous
And my insides turn
They stare at me
As I walk down the hallway
With disappointed eyes
Like they do everyday
Some of them push me
Shove me, hit me
And even make time
To beat me
Even if the see
How much I hurt
They still treat me
Like dirt
Physical pain is strong
And lasts quite long
But once it's gone
It's the emotional pain that lingers on
What did I do
To deserve this torment?
What have I done
To receive this punishment?
I do not know why
They always want me to cry
They always want me to frown
They always want me to look so down
They cause me pain
They cause me suffering
But all I can do
Is absolutely nothing
