I aim to please all,
No pleasure will satisfy amidst suffering,
The pain of others saddens me;
The grief of others inflicts painful wounds upon my soul,
The anger of others is a consuming inferno upon my breast,
All the many emotions of the world infect my psyche;
Should I close my eyes and cover my ears to the cries of despair,
Exile from the world's emotions will not satisfy me,
Folly would welcome me in his arms;
My charitable deeds brings me pleasure and pain,
To ease societal pain is to embrace trauma,
To lift societal spirits is to kiss Tranquility's mouth;
Heroic deeds are these:,
Selfless love for those who suffer,
Selfish inner peace in the joy of others;
Power, fame and glory can raise the weak,
Charitable actions can provide power,
Fame and glory are born from Humility's forge;
Peace must be won for the downtrodden
Sacrifice must flow from the coffers of the wealthy,
Unity must be declared by those who seek it;
New beginnings rise from Effort's fruits,
Change cries it's name to the high heavens,
Who will answer her cry?
