"Hey so tell me about yourself" He said
"My name is Danise Marie, I'm 17, I live with my mother, I have 2 siblings Naytiana is 19 & Aliyah is 16. I'm very independent and I am a hairstylist. Im tough & can hold my own but is sensitive sometimes. My birthday is December 6th, my favorite color is blue and favorite food is fries. What about you?" I asked
"Well my name is Nate Smith & I am 19, My parents died when I was 10 from a plane crash. I have one sibling named Sam hes 15 , my favorite color is also red and my favorite food is chicken but mmm there's one more thing that I have to tell you, it might push you away" he says
"What is it Nate" I say kind of worried
"Well I'm a drug dealer, but it's only because I am not fit for normal jobs, I have to do what I have to do to make a living & to make sure my family can have what they need & want but I'm hoping you won't judge me" he says sounding worried
"I'm not going to shut down all communications because of your life style, I don't totally agree with it but I accept it. I like that you put your family above everything & handle your business, but I want you to be book smart also & don't be so rough around the edges you know how some hood niggas be? " I said
"I'm relieved, he said laughing but I'm smart I graduated high school on time & had extra credits" he said
We both we're laughing so hard all night on the phone, come to find out we have a lot in common. We spoke about a lot of stuff not knowing what time it was, we fell asleep on the phone until 5 in the morning, I hung up because of his snores just wasn't right. I went to sleep thinking how I just met him but I like him.. it feels so right & I haven't had this feeling in a loonnnng time. Maybe he just what I been looking for?
I woke up in the morning smiling, before I got up I texted Nate & Said gooodmorning and that I loved our conversation. He didn't reply so I'm guessing he's sleep. I brushed my teeth & took a 30 minute shower & did my hair. I took a picture & posted it on facebook my caption was "woke up feeling good thanks to him ". I went downstairs to find my ma drinking again she always try to hide it but it's very noticeable, I don't react to if no more because I'm so use to it. I don't like it at all but I got to the point to where im like fuck it. I been dealing with it for years it hurts more and more even though I'm tired of expressing it
"Good morning ma" I said
"Good morning baby" she said with a fake smile
"What do you got up today? " I asked
"Nothing yet might go help Joe with the shop later on" she said
I walked in the kitchen & looked at my phone and Nate replied
BabyNate:Goodmorning beautiful, how did you sleep?
Me:Good after I hung up on you, your snores was horrible.
BabyNate:I'm sorry ma, our conversation had me in a deep sleep
Me: You okay, so what do you got up today?
BabyNate: Actually I was hoping I could take my girl out to lunch, she really brighten up my day
Me: Oh really you have a girlfriend?
BabyNate: Yeah you, but I gotta catch up w work meet me at the Cheese Cake Factory at 1:00 😘
