So yeah I've been having this serious problem. That gives me mental breakdown. And my chest always pounds whenever i face this problem. And also the butterflies. It somehow enjoyable, i like this problem. But this problem also gives me nervousness, which I don't like.
Anyways, let me tell you what my problem is:
Elsa Arendelle
The quiet girl in my town. And in my school. But she's different when you get to know her. Nothing special about her if you ask. But this something called crush is giving me problems.
She's smart. She gives me tutor once, Cause of my bad grades. Anyway. She's also loyal. Beautiful. Sweet. Caring. Funny. Elegant. Which you don't see in most of girls in my town. She's just regular girl. But to me, She's more than that
What makes it problem is:
first, she's my crush
second, she's also my best friend

Friday
"Hey els" I looked to my left to see my friend. Elsa.
"What?"
"let's get ice cream tomorrow" I offer.
"Ice cream sounds good. It's summer after all" she said looking at me
"I'll pick you up at 9, okay?" i said as we leave the school gates ready to walk home. She nodded
"Hey" she said making me look up to see she's in front of me with a smirk. oh no. i know what's coming next
"Lets race. who gets to your house the fastest win." she challenged me. Yeah the same old competitive Elsa.
"Well okay. But do not cry when i win snowflake cause i-" I didn't get the chance to finish my sentences when elsa running fast leaving me dumbfounded. what a cheater.
"HEY THATS NO FAIR" i yell running after her.
"YOU LOST FROST" she yells at me
"NOT FOR LONG" I screamed again running faster while laughing.
Saturday
"Wake up sleepy head" I yelled as i pull off the covers that covering her
"No, ten more minutes please" she pouts.
"I said I'd pick you up at 9. Yet you still snoring" i said laughing
"I'm not snoring" she complained as she pull the covers back on her
I'm at her house, trying to wake her up to go get ice cream. But she's always not a morning person.
"Yeah right" I said sarcastically
"Come on. get up. Or I'll leave without you. I get all the chocolate ice cream then" i said smirking
"Yeah whatever" she said while waking up and headed to her bathroom
"I'll be downstairs" i said walking to the door as I heard water being turned on
"Yeah go and never come back" she replied which caused me to laugh
i went downstairs and sit on their couch and start switching the tv channels
"Yet you still not in a relationship" I look to my right and saw anna shakes her head. Elsa's younger sister
"Hey anna" I greet her
"Why don't you make your moves already?" she ask kinda annoyed
"yeah, about that. I've tried. Believe me. Your sister is hard to get" i said and she laughed
"She's hard to get or its just you who is a coward to confess" she teased still laughing
"Yeah whatever. Im not a coward. Just need a little more time" i said looking back at the tv
"Anyway, your parents are off to work yet?" i ask
"Yeah couple minutes before you arrived" she replied
"Im ready" i hear someone screamed from upstairs
Then a figure coming from the upstairs. Elsa. With white shorts and blue tank top with pairs or white vans. When she coming down from the stairs, it feels like a dramatic slow motion in movies, know what i mean?.
"so gorgeous" i said to myself as i keep on drooling. Until i heard someone said
"jack? Come on snap out of it. I want ice cream" elsa snaps her fingers in front of my face. I blinked
"I'll be at your motorcycle" she said and walk past me
"What just happened?" I asked myself
"Um you kinda drooled again?" anna answered my question
"Right. See you later anna" i said as I rushed outside
-time skip-
we were at the park bench. Eating ice cream. In front of a few kids playing basketball. I swallowed my last piece of ice cream, then suddenly a ball bouncing on my way.
"can you pass the ball please?" said one of the kids
instead, i pick it up and drag Elsa with me to the basketball field
"Can I borrow one sec" the kid nodded
I threw the ball and score perfectly. I pick the ball up once again and turned to Elsa
"Your turn" i said handing the ball
"No, jack you know I'm bad at sports" she said
"Yes. just try" I argue
she finally take the ball and shoot but hit the ring without scoring. I laughed
"Stop it" she pout while crossing her arms. I pinch her nose and said
"You're so adorable. The fact that you're bad at sports makes you even more adorable" i said laughing
"Hey come on love birds, not in front of children" the kid said and ask for the ball and i give it
"And by the way your girlfriend is beautiful" he said and run off with his friends
"I'm not his girlfriend kid" Elsa yelled to the kid. Ouch.
"Not yet" i yelled to the kid too and elsa just slaps my arm while laughing. she thinks I'm joking when I'm not.
"What do you wanna do after this, it still noon" i ask her when we back at the bench.
"I don't know" she said. And silence take over
"OOH I KNOW LETS GO TO YOUR PLACE" she suddenly scream making me jump in surprise. Then she run to my motorcycle and told me to follow her
"We're here" i said after a while of driving
she run in first leaving me behind again
"Hey em" she greeted my little sister emma
"Hey Elsa, And jack" she said and go to her room. Its just me and emma at the house cause our parents are at work.
"So.... What to do?" i ask her
"Lets play your games upstairs" She said I replied with an 'okay' and went to the kitchen to get some snacks. When I'm done, I went upstairs to my room to find Elsa's not there. I checked the bathroom, and no signs of her. I went back down and search the house for her. There's only one place that elsa went when she's here. So i went there.
Yup. Found her. I rest my shoulder at the door frame and watch her. Gracefully playing the piano at our living room. I love it when she plays instruments. I don't know, it calms me down every time she plays one
I clapped as she finished the song she played.
"So was it good?" she ask turning around
"It's great" i said "But, i like you playing guitar more than piano"
i said
"Well there's no guitar at your house. What can i do?" she said I just chuckled as we went upstairs to my room. Playing video games
We get bored and decided to go to my backyard. She grab a watering can and start to watering plants
I'm just standing there bored as hell as I watch elsa enjoying her time. Then i saw a caterpillar. I grab a stick and take the caterpillar
"Hey Snowflake, turn around" i said
she turn around and froze. her eyes widened. i see goosebumps all over her arms. she slowly back away
"jack" she whispered. I'm so close to laughing my head off
"put. the thing. down." she ordered slowly still backing away
"why? I think its cute" i said holding back my laughter
"Well I think its not. cute. at. all" she started to run as I finally let go of my laughter and chase her with the caterpillar on my stick
"JACK STOP RIGHT THERE." She yelled still running
"or what?" I asked running after her
"ILL KILL YOU" she yelled making me laugh even more
"YOU CANT. IM TOO HANDSOME" I yelled after her
"STOP IT JACK" she yells again.
after more screaming and running, we finally stop and sat on the grass
"You're so cute when you scared. especially to bugs" I laugh
" that is not 'cute' at all" she hissed at me making me pinch her cheek "stop being so adorable would you"
I said
so I dropped her home after the really long day
"if you need anything tomorrow, tell me. kay?" i said as i walk her to the front door
"well I don't need anything tomorrow. I'll just be sleeping till the end of the day" she said and I laugh. Then i give her a brotherly hug and kissed her forehead
"bye see you on Monday." i said and walk to my motorcycle "Bye" she replied
Sunday
I'm just lying here in my bed watching movies. It still 11. Boredom. Elsa probably still asleep. So I didn't text her, I don't want to bother her.
About five minutes later my phone buzz which means there's a text.
Snowflake❄️: Come over
me: Why? what's up?
Snowflake❄️: Just hurry up.
me: be there in 5
After that i put on my jacket and keys as i went outside.
"Where are you going?" My mom ask while she's preparing for lunch
"Elsa's place, she needs something" i said and kissed her cheek. She nodded and yelled
"Be careful sweetheart" i just nodded and went outside to my motorcycle
*ding dong*
i ring the bell to their house and reviled Mrs. Arendelle. Elsa's mom
"Oh hi jack, nice to see you. Come on in" She offered
"Thank you, Is elsa home?" i ask as I entered their house
"Oh young love, i ship it" She said putting a hand on her heart. i just laughed at her
"Elsa's upstairs. She haven't been out since the fight with anna about at 7 in the morning" Mrs. Arendelle said with worried look
"What happened?" I ask
"Oh the regular sibling fight" she said. I nodded and went upstairs
I knocked her door, but she did not open it
" snowflake?" I said then I heard a click. And the door opened slowly. There she is, with red eyes and nose. which means she's been crying
"come here" i said and offered my open arms. She slowly hug me as i pat her hair.
"Quit crying. Tears does not suits you" i said still patting. She just sniffed.
"Let's go get lunch?" i ask her. She nods and i drag her outside
"I borrow Elsa for a while Mrs. Arendelle" I yelled to the kitchen where she is
"Be careful" she answered
-time skip-
"Ready to tell what happened?" i ask elsa. We're now eating desserts. At a restaurant. She nodded and sighs
"So last night I ordered a pizza for my dinner cause my parents aren't home yet. Before I ordered, i ask anna what she wants but she said she's fine. So i ate my pizza alone. After I'm done i put them in the refrigerator so i can eat it for today there's still two slices left. This morning I woke up and got hungry so I search for it. But its gone. Its not where i put them. I ask anna and she said she ate it while I'm asleep. I got mad and told my mom about this. And you know what she said?" elsa paused and ask me
"um.. no?" i said and she continued
"My mom, Fucking said that I should share with my sister where anna herself told me that she's fine and that she doesn't want anything. I got mad and I started to yell at her. She got mad too so she told me to go to my room. She's always like this. Never stood up for me. Always Anna. Anna, Anna, And still gonna be Anna for the rest of my lifetime" she crossed her arms. She's really upset about it. Cute
"Well that's what it is to be an oldest, Snowflake" i said trying to calm her down
"But" she started
"I've gone through the same thing" she keep it silent
" my sister is so much younger than yours, my parents always put her up before me" I continued
"That is what an older sibling is, Snowflake" i said as i paid the bills and drag her to my motorcycle
She keep on looking down. Maybe she's thinking. After a while we're back at her house. In front of her porch
"Maybe you're right jack" She said facing me. "I'm just being dramatic" she finally looking up at me
"That's the smile I like to see" i said and pinch her cheek. She giggled and slap my hand away
"Bye frost. See you on Monday. And thanks for the meal" she said and waved goodbye as i see her walking to her front door. I stood there watching her.
She doesn't say 'I love you' like a normal person. Instead, she'll laugh, shakes her head, give you a little smile and said "You're an idiot" if she tells you you're an idiot, you are a lucky man.
Maybe not now, maybe someday in the future. Who knows? But right now, just seeing her happy is enough. It doesn't have to be a relationship. Im glad that she's happy without a boyfriend beside her. After all, I'm her best friend. Yet I wouldn't give up just like that. You'll see.
That's my story. A regular boy who's in love with his own best friend. Struggling to have her attention. That's what this story is all about. Thanks for paying attention.
