"i- um, excuse me." i opened my eyes when i heard that familiar voice.
it really was him.
quickly,
i pushed jungkook away.
there he stood-
blonde hair,
skinny physique,
looking perfect as ever.
it's been three weeks since i last saw him on that roof.
"sorry, i didn't mean to stop your- ah... kissing." his eyes were clearly dark.
it was pretty evident that he was hurt.
at first empathy was drowning me,
but i also felt satisfied.
it was nice to be on the other end of pain for once.
"you two should probably go inside somewhere, jimin gets sick easily." he looked down,
refusing to make any kind of eye contact.
"right." jungkook took a hold of my hand and started walking away.
i couldn't even speak.
"why did you do that?"
he shrugged still holding my hand.
"i didn't want you to see him; it must hurt when you do."
i sighed.
"it does, but you don't need to decide what's best for me, jungkook."
we entered an almost empty coffee shop and took a seat.
"i wasn't. i was doing what's best for me; i don't like seeing you sad, it puts me in a bad mood." i looked down at my hands and bit my lip.
it was something i found myself doing a lot recently when i was with him.
