I've gained a few traits over the years of constant sun. My human tells me that we are lucky to be grown in a place with no winter or snow. I've never heard of either until he told me, warned me that if it was like that in this land, I would die. I've grown curious, though, and I want to know what it was like. Would dying for such a foreign sight be worth it? Or would it be in vain?
I don't think I can manage much longer in my constant spot. The elder behind me has wilted away some time ago; a new sprout has replaced him. Loud. Obnoxious. Growing so quickly that he is blocking my sun and only laughing about it. Would it be better in the cabin? Would it be nicer to be at my human's side constantly?
I hope it is.
