Sheets fall from the sky, shielding my tears from the world.
No one can see me shedding the tears of self hate, worry, and regret.
Rain mixing in with my salty tears that stream down my face.
The stinging rain pelting on my face comforts me. I feel numb, pain is the only thing I want to feel.
I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all.
This life is filled with hurt, when happiness doesn't work.

I forget who said that but it was a great actor. I do love to walk in the rain though and just for that reason too.
