Lunch

I sat down at a lunch table and put my tray in front of me. I took a bite of my sandwich. Jelly squirted out and onto my shirt.
Are you kidding me? My mom's going to kill me. It was the only white shirt I have.
I sighed and grabbed a napkin. And it was a white shirt, too. I looked around to make sure no one was watching me. Good thing no one liked me or even glance my way.
As I attempted to wipe the purple stain off my shirt, a group of boys passed by.
"Hey, nice shirt!" One said, his voice cracking.
"Nice voice crack." I replied, giving him a dirty look.
"Oohh!" The rest of the boys shouted.
"How'd that jelly get there? We're you playing with your food?" A boy with blonde hair snorted."
"You gonna run home to your mommy and daddy? Oh wait, you don't have a dad!" Another jeered.
"Hey, boys, fuck off, ok?" Another one told them. He had brown hair and remarkable blue eyes.
"Why, you like her?" The blonde kid asked.
"No. I'm just saying that you should leave her alone. Come on, your girlfriend is waiting for you, Ethan."
They sighed. "Fine." And turning to me, "See ya later, Jelly." With that the boys walked away.
I buried my hands in my face. Today is just not my day. When is it? All I wanted was to go home and talk to Alice.
