LILY'S P.O.V
"Hey, hurry up will you? I want to go and see these paintings!" Megan tells me from behind as I pack my bag. I make sure my purse is inside with some money so we could go and buy lunch after seeing the paintings in the art gallery. My packet of tissues are in the pocket, my phone on silent and my charm bracelet. The bracelet was given to me by my nana who passed away a few years ago, she told me life would be bumpy but I can travel it anyway possible even if it means walking on water.
"I heard that there is a picture of a cat there, I really want to see it!" Susie says jumping up and down with her arms in the air and a big smile on her face.
Me and my friends Megan and Susie have always been interested in art but we don't want to become an artist. Today we are going to look around in the local art gallery. I heard there is loads of art work by Guertena. I have seen some of his art works on the internet, but I am looking forward to seeing the real thing!
Looking in my mirror quickly my green emerald eyes look back at me. My brown hair is straight today and it reaches right down past my ribs. I am wearing a white shirt with a black skirt. On my feet are black flat shoes however Megan is wearing a white t-shirt saying 'PARIS' with black trousers and a black leather jacket and her black bob is in the right shape, on the other hand Susie is wearing a pink dress and her blonde hair is in pigtails.
"Okay I am ready" I say turning to my friends with a bright smile "Let's go!"
Susie jumps for joy as she laughs and Megan puts her hands on her hips giving me a smile.
We leave my house together and order a taxi.
We all standing inside the art gallery, the queue for the desk is huge, it is actually quite annoying.
"Lily why don't you go on ahead and we will catch you up?" Susie asks me
"You two don't mind?" I ask
"We'll catch you up" Megan says flapping her hand at me.
Giving them both a smile I leave the queue and going upstairs I enter the main part of the art gallery. The first picture I see is a picture of a person on their knees, a old man is taking quite an interest in the painting, I won't bother him. Walking past a purple haired guy I go to the next painting and see a picture which is completely dark, but it has the word towers in the name, but I don't see any towers. Going to the next picture it says it is called 'Worry', it looks slightly disturbing...
Walking into the next room there is a picture of a diamond, that must of took some time to paint. The next picture is a women wearing all red, she looks beautiful, I wonder if she was or is a real person, such fine details but Megan told me Guertena didn't paint real people...strange.
I go and have a look at the painting called 'Enlightenment', it seems like a picture of a eye but... Going into the next room there is nobody about but there is a massive long stretched out picture, it is called 'Fabricated World'. The lights start to flicker making me flinch in surprise, I look up to the ceiling the lights flickering and then they stay dark.
Walking to where I went up the stairs and into this place I find that nobody is around, walking down the stairs to the desk nobody is there either. What happened to everyone?! The lights start to flicker again but yet again when they stop they stayed off.
"Megan? Susie?" I called looking around but there was no reply. I turn to my right to see another room in the art gallery, I enter it to see if anyone is around but there is still nobody around.
But I see a canvas on the floor of the sea with a... shark? It seems really real though. I don't bother to read it. I walk around a bit more and see more paintings, I rub my arms feeling a little cold, I wish people will show up soon, maybe this is just a prank?
Walking around a little more I see a big red rose, how beautiful... to the right of the rose I see a painting of a man...coughing? 'The coughing man' the painting says, I walk away from it and hear a loud coughing sound, turning around quickly I see nobody is there, I glance at the painting. Did he...just cough? N-No way Lily! Don't be silly!
I rush back to the front desk and back up the stairs to double check, walking past the window I see at the corner of my eye someone there with a wide smile, I freeze on the stop and turn to the window, I swear someone just walked past... m-my imagination? I look through the window but no one is there, walking past it there is a loud banging noise on the glass. I scream.
As fast as I can I run back to the front desk and yell "Guy's! This isn't funny!"
Walking around nothing else happens. Where has everyone gone? They can't of shut the art gallery... this was meant to go on all night. As I think to myself for a while I manage to end up in front of the 'Fabricated World'. Looking at the painting I wonder how long it took for the artist to paint it. Looking to the left of the painting I see some blue paint on the wall. Walking over to it I see it is coming from behind the frame.
I hear loads of banging noises, looking to the floor in green letters it says 'Come Lily'. How did that get there?!
Where do they want me to go? There is so many places, yet again I walk back downstairs and to the front desk, nothing is here... Looking at the windows I check nobody is hiding but instead on the second window blood runs down the window, I shriek. I step back from the window, w-what the hell?!
"Come down below Lily~" A voice whispers from somewhere making me even more scared than I am "I'll show you somewhere really secret~"
I run to the right and enter the room where the canvas is, t-the fence around it is open and there is blue paint where it is open. I walk to where is it opening and look down, is it real now? I dip my foot inside and I feel something grab my ankle and pull me in, I scream loudly.
Opening my eyes I see I am laying on the floor, w-where am I?
Standing up I see it is very dark, walking around from where I was laying there is a red painting and a blue painting, both of them look exactly the same... just different colours. Walking to the right I see on the wall in white letters it stays 'Come. Come. Come. Come'. At the end of the repeated word there is a blue door and in front of the blue door is a table with a blue vase, in the blue vase there is a green rose, is that a real rose? I slowly take the green rose out of the vase, it looks just like my eye colour. Opening my handbag I see the charm bracelet and tissues are still inside... but my phone is gone! I sigh and place the rose inside my handbag, there is now nothing I can do. I need to escape!
Pushing the table away from the door I open the blue door and go inside where there is a painting of a person, it is a lady smiling. There is a piece of writing underneath it!
"When the roses wilts, so too will you wilt away." I read out loud. Huh? So... if my rose wilts, I will wilt away too? Looking inside my handbag I look at the green rose. This must be like... my soul or something, then... I will look after it! Turning around I start walking away from the painting, my foot steps on something. Blinking I remove my foot and see a blue key is placed on the floor, was that there before? Turning around I see that the painting of the lady has changed, her eyes are opening, they are looking to the left and her tongue is sticking out at me.
I quickly leave the room and go back to where the corridor is, on the wall in red letters it now says 'thief. thief. thief' on repeat. Going back to where I woke up the stairs are gone. I walk to the left this time, I see a picture and another door, another blue door. Going to the blue door I place my hand on the handle and take a deep breath, I need to be prepared for now on, anything can happen! Opening the door I see it is locked, Oh! Of course! I contain the blue key! Taking the blue key out of my bag I open the door and go inside.
Opening my eyes after having them shut tightly I see there is nothing to be afraid of, I know stand in a green room full of paintings. I laugh at myself for a moment before going for a little explore. There is mainly pictures of insets, a ladybug, bee, butterfly and spider is what I can see so far. Walking down the corridor of where I have seen those pictures I see a bright green door, I enter and see there is a massive gap in the floor where I cannot get past! Sighing I go to my knees and look into the gap, it is so dark... I can't see anything.
Walking back to where the paintings are, this time I go in the other possibly directions, walking for a moment I feel something touch me, I shriek and see a hand coming through the wall.
As I keep walking more black hands keep trying to reach me, finally reaching a dead end I see another picture, this time, of an ant and another bright green door. Going to the door I try and open it.
"Shoot" I whisper "I don't have any other keys apart from the blue key, but that won't work"
Looking over to the picture of the spider I see it is hanging on the wall and not stuck.
That's it! I can take the picture of the wall and place it over that dark gap and walk over it! It seems strong enough. It is worth a try!
Taking the picture off the wall I carry it past the dark hands and to the first bright green door I went to, opening the door I pull the picture inside with me. Placing the picture over the gap it doesn't fall down. I place my foot on the painting and nothing happens, standing on the painting I don't fall through. Walking over the painting to the other side I smile to myself.
Opening the other door I enter the room where yet again another painting is hanging on the wall. A mannequin wearing a red dress is placed in the corner of the room, wasn't that the mannequin in the art gallery with the other mannequins? Maybe not... Looking on the ground I see a green key, picking it up from the ground I see the red mannequin has taken a step closer, taking a step back I wait for a moment, it starts to walk towards me.
Screaming I leave the room from back where I came from, I rush across the ant painting. Looking behind me I see the red mannequin following me.
How does it do that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I rush towards the door but I see the red mannequin fall through the painting. I wait for a moment in case it was a trick, but nothing else happens, I place a hand on my chest where my heart should be and give a sigh of relief.
Walking out of the door, past the paintings, past the dark moving hands I reach the other bright green door, pulling the green key out of my handbag I open the door to find the room inside looks like a gian cat. The big eyes look straight forward and they don't seem to move. Yet... I think to myself. Walking up to the wall I see there is an empty fish shape in the wall. Maybe it is hungry... it might help me escape! But I don't have any fish with me... Maybe I can find some fish if I have a look around.
Entering the left room I see a stick man on a wall and many other walls which have bright green curtains. Walking up to the stick man it starts talking to me.
"Want to play hide and seek Lily?" It asks.
"H-How do you know my name?!" I demand
The stick man doesn't answer and suddenly disappears out of nowhere. Looking around I see I have to open a curtain and see if that stick man is behind it.
I go to the first row of curtains and pick the very last curtain, I shut my eyes tightly as I open the curtains, nothing happens, opening my eyes I see the stick man, he starts to shake "You found me Lily! You get a prize!"
Something lands in front of me. "A wooden fish head! Thank you!" I say picking up the wooden fish head, the stick man doesn't say anything else. Placing the wooden fish head in my handbag I better go and get the fish tail... it must be on the other side!
Entering the right room of the cat room I see loads of mannequins, mannequin heads, boxes. On the door it said this room was the 'storehouse'. The head beside me starts shaking making me step back wondering what is going to happen. The head starts to come towards me, I walk away but it follows, the head falls over and shatters everywhere, in the pile of shattered glass I see something. The wooden fish tail!
I place the wooden fish tail into my handbag, looking at the new things inside I see the rose starting to dry up, taking the rose out I walk over to a vase and place it inside, the rose suddenly turns bright green once again.
"I'm guessing the rose needs water once in a while... I should keep a better look out for the vases" I say to myself.
Going back inside the cat room, I place the wooden fish head and tail together and place it inside the empty fish shape. The room starts shaking like an earthquake is happening, the cats eyes turn bright red and starts meowing at me. Where the empty fish shape was a path is starting to appear!
Looking down the path I see it is a very long way through, looking into my handbag I see what I have collected so far.
"I must escape this place and go home, I need to return to Megan and Susie before they get too worried about me, I know this isn't a dream anymore, this is reality and I must escape this world!" I tell myself, taking a deep breath I shut my eyes tightly while I do so, opening my eyes I yell "Lets go!"
I start to run down the path which was created, I am now prepared for what I shall see and do next.

Yay! The first chapter! I hope you guys enjoyed it! This story will have the same puzzle as the games but I shall be changing it slightly for my fans~
