Chapter 1

Chloe's POV
I can't actually believe it's the start of year 10. It feels like yesterday that I was starting secondary school. I'm Chloe and I'm 14 I absolutely love acting. "Chloe!!!!" My best friend Naomi shouted. "Naomi!!!!" I said pulling her in for a hug. I've known Naomi for my whole life and we've been best friends since nursery. We've never really fallen out apart from when we were in year 8 and she started to get closer to this boy called Luke and she started to neglect me quite a bit but Luke is now her boyfriend and we've all become really close. "Hey Chloe, good summer?" Luke said "yeah it was great how was yours" I said
"I spent most of it with Naomi but it was really good" Suddenly the bell rang so we all rushed off to our tutors. I caught up with my friends in my tutor Trinity and Maisie. In year 7 we were all best friends but we kind of drifted apart so now we're just friends. Seen as its the first day we always have an assembly. As soon as we got in to assembly I notice this really good looking guy at the front sat down at the front. Suddenly about a thousand thoughts came into my head. Is he new? I think I recognise him from somewhere, will he like me?, will I get to speak to him arghh. "Good morning year 10 it's good to see you all again" our headteacher spoke through the microphone. "Now rather than me doing a speech about entering year 10, we've got a visitor who's come here all the way from Yorkshire" He came up to the front where my headteacher was standing. Seen as I was sat in 2nd row I could see his face properly and it was perfect especially when he smiled. "Hello, I'm joe warren plant and I'm an actor from a tv soap called emmerdale "
That's where I recognise him from my mum watches emmerdale everyday so I must have seen him before. "I am here to tell you guys that we are holding auditions for year 10 girls who are doing drama GCSE, so sorry if this doesn't apply to you, the audition is for a part on emmerdale" ahhhh this is a part that I have wanted for so long
"The auditions are on Friday in the drama studio at lunch time so please come along if your interested" joe said and he pulled out a huge smile on his face. I cannot wait until Friday!
