Percy leaned heavily on his sword.
His side was burning with pain and his camp shirt was soaked with blood.
Annabeth was limping next to him, clutching her dagger.
Her blonde hair was dirty and out of its ponytail. Blood and dirt smeared a side of her face, giving her that warrior-princess type of look.
So hot.
Percy shook his head, focusing.
"Where are the others?"
"Will and Nico are fighting a hydra and Ares cabin is defending the perimeter. The rest are fighting various monsters around camp."
Percy nods grimly. "Just you and me then?"
Annabeth nods. "Ready for this, Seaweed Brain?"
Percy leans in and kisses her.
"Born ready, Wise Girl."
They charge into battle.
