Jess's POV
I looked down at my OUTFIT to make sure everything looked good and then I headed outside to where all the other people are.
Well, this got boring really fast. I walked over to one of the tables, sat down and did what any other teenager would do... I pulled out my phone and sent a text to Alex.

Ugh. Enough with all the guy stuff! I'm honestly going to hurt you.

That would hurt seen as you have been doing karate, self defense, and range shooting classes your whole life.

Not my fault. My dad made me. Which I still don't understand why. Men are dumb.
After I hit send I heard someone clear there throat behind me. I turned around to see and curly haired green eyes guy. He was extremly good looking but he had some sort of dangerous edge to him that I felt.
"Can I help you?" I asked
I hope I didn't sound mean. I've always come across as a bitch when in all reality I just don't sugarcoat things and I tell people what I think and on top all of that I'm a tough independent woman. I never mean to sound mean because I'm really not. I think you have to get to know me first and then people understand that I'm really not mean at all.
"Yeah." The surpirse in curly's voice told me it came out mean. He was probably thinking that I'm some rich bitch.
"What do you need?" I tried to say nicer
"Where' the bathroom?" He said with a small smile
"In through the french double doors, and then go straight and take the first left and the second door on the right down the hall should be the bathroom." I said with a smile
"I'm not very good with directions could you show me the way?" He asked
Something felt off about this but I do know how to fight so I guess if anything did go wrong I could help myself... Who am I kidding, I'm just freakin' paranoid
"Sure." I said cautiously
I went infront of him and then walked, when I was about to turn to show him the bathroom door, he pulled me into him and then pushed us both into the bathroom.
"WHAT THE HELL!?!?!" I yelled and then elbowed him in the chest.
I Pulled my arm up to get his arm away from around my neck but he was strong. I stomped on his foot and felt a hint of satifaction when he groaned in pain. But when he tightened his arm around my neck that feeling went away. I bit his arm and then he turned me around so I was facing him and he took his arms and held me in place.
"No one told me you knew how to fight." Curly said with clear irritation in his voice
"What's your name?" I hissed
"Why do you wanna know babe?" Curly asked with a smirk
I leaned up real close to him and looked him in the eye and whispered "So I know who to kill when I get out of this situation."
