Was there something Rick wasnt telling me about Harry? He seemed more upset about it then he should be. Why was it such a big deal? I sat up all morning thinking about it. I barely slept at all last night.

I got up and looked at myself in the mirror. I had dark circles around my green eyes showing my slightly visible distress. I also had plans with Harry tonight. The hours leading up to it werent very enjoyable as well.

"Cat" Rick called from the front counter. "What" I basically muttered. "I need you to run the cash register" He said checking out. "Your leaving?" I turned around with my hands out. "Yep. Shifts over." He raised his eyebrows. Things between me and Rick have been heated lately. He left without saying goodbye, even though he used to always say goodnight, or goodbye.

"Cat?" Harry snapped me from my thoughts. "Sorry" I looked up quickly. "Whats wrong? You've been quiet all night" He said as we walked down the street. "Its nothing" I said. "Are you sure?" He sounded concerned. "Its really nothing at all" I shook my head. "Okay.." There was disbelief in his voice. "Can i ask you something?" I stopped on the sidewalk and faced him. "Sure?" He looked left and right then at me. "Uh, some people, were saying things about you. Ya know?" I talked quietly. He sighed and looked down. "And what'd they say?" He seemed worried. "Just that you were sick for awhile, and bad things happend to you thats all, i was just wondering if anything serious happend" I looked up at him. "Nothing worth sharing" He started walking away. "Harry!" I called. He ignored me and kept walking. Why would he just walk away?

I went home and called Harry right away. He didnt answer. But i called him about 3 more times. Still no answer. What happend? I was hoping I hadnt offended him.

"You look exhausted" Was the first thing Tricia said to me. "Thanks. I am" I gave her a sarcastic look. "I just couldnt sleep" I added quietly. I stared blankly at the empty couch that was once taken everyday by the boy no one cared for. The image of him there haunted me. I hadnt heard from Harry in over 2 weeks. I got very worried to the point where i couldnt sleep, eat or drink. Why was he ignoring my phone calls? "Cat?" Tricia spoke up. "Yeah? Sorry" I slightly shook my head. "Whats up?" She leaned on the table. "Uh nothing" I pushed my hair back. "Cat you've been staring at that couch for like 20 minutes" She could sense i was lying. "Im just tired" I lied. "Cat can you wipe the tables" Rick called from the front counter. I sighed then nodded my head. I grabbed a dampened rag and made my way to the tables. I looked up for one second out the window to see a tall curly haired man walking across the street. "Harry" I said out loud. I dropped the rag on the table and ran outside. "Harry!" I called from the sidewalk. He looked down then over at me. He then slowly made his way towards me. "Hi Cat" He said right away. "Where have you been? Why were you ignoring my calls?" I raised my eyebrows. "Im sorry, i was busy" He looked at the ground. "For 2 weeks?" I was a bit upset. "Im sorry Cat" He said quietly. "Did i do something?" There was guilt in my voice. "No, no i just needed some...time i guess" He put his hands in his pockets. "I have to get back to work" I turned around and went back inside. "Cat what the hell?" Rick said. "What Rick?" My voice was loud and annoyed. "Cat what is wrong with you lately? You've been so aggrevated" He threw his arms up. I opened my mouth to stay something "Forget it" I shook my head.
