The day was October 7th, the year was 2013 and it was 2:00 PM, which meant that the rush hour was gonna kick off between 3:00 and 4:00 in the city of angels known as Los Angeles, California. Traffic was smooth so far, many adults were waiting for 5:00 so that they could head home from work and Children waited for 3:00 so that they could be dismissed from school.
On a street that was named Bellagio Road, there was a house that was in the heart of the bel-air neighborhood, the house was over 20,000 square feet with 11 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, it had a priave drive with 2 large motor courts, a gorgeous formal lawn, paddle teenis court and a sunlit pool. Also included was a 2 story entry hall with a floating staircase, grand formal living rooms with high ceilings, perior details & majestic wood burning fireplace. A dining room with a junior dining room was adjacent and it overlooks verdand ground, a master suite had 2 sitting rooms, dual baths and a lavish master closet. A gourmet kitchen that was renovated with an oversized family room, a state of the art screening room, gym, wine cellar, gift wrapping room, floral arranging toom, beauty salon, 2 offices, catering kitchen and other things.
In the master suite, which had a Flat Screen HD TV, DVD player there was a young man walking from the bathroom to the closet of his house after taking a shower and he was around 5'7, had long dark brown hair, had green eyes and was 20 years old. The person was Lorenzo Miller, who is the son of a popular dance teacher named Abby Lee Miller and she taught him how to be a great dancer.
Lorenzo opened the closet door to see what he was gonna wear, he looked closely and after thinking about it, he chose a los angeles clippers warm up set. The short sleeved shirt was button down and had the Clippers name and Nike logo on the front and the pants had a black stripe on the waist and was red all over.
"All right, this is what i'll wear." Lorenzo said to himself as he then put on the clothes and on his feet were some Nike sneakers and he combed his long hair to make it wavy and after he was done making up his bed and cleaned up a little bit, it was time to head to the Abby Lee Dance Company which is his mother's studio. So he headed to the garage and walked to his SUV, which was a Cadillac Escalade that was painted red.
Seven minutes later, Lorenzo turned off of the Santa Monica Boulevard exit and onto the street itself and a minute later, he approached a beige building with red awnings and in the middle of them was the entrance, above it had the words "LA" with the ALDC Logo in the letters, then Lorenzo turned into a driveway and parked his escalade.
He got out of the car and headed inside of the studio and the first thing he saw was a seating area where parents sat while their kids danced, the studio had a dance wear store named Broadway Baby's Dancewear and Costume Shoppe, which was named after a dog that the Miller's owned that had passed the year before, Broadway Baby and there were four dance rooms, separate showers, changing room known as the dancer's den and then while Lorenzo was standing near the entrance of Studio A, which had the seating area on the left of the studio at the door and he felt a gentle tapping on his shoulder and then he turned around and saw that the tapping came from a brown haired heavyset woman that was 47, had green eyes and was 5'7, the woman that was standing in front of him was his mother, Abby Lee Miller.
"Hello, mom. I know that tapping from anywhere." Lorenzo chuckled.
"Hello, sweetie." Abby said, giving her son a hug. "How are you?"
"I'm doing good." Lorenzo replied. "Yesterday, i went to the nursing home to visit Grandma."
"You did?" Abby responded, she knew that her mother, Maryen Lorrain Miller was suffering from Colon Cancer since the summer and she was in Stage IV and because of that, Maryen was in hospice care. "How was she doing?"
"She was doing ok." Lorenzo stated.
"Logan, to be honest with you, it probably won't be long until she's called home."
"I know." Lorenzo sighed. "Mom?"
"Yes?" Abby stated.
"Are you ready for another season of watching the girls dancing and competing?" He asked.
"You know i am." Abby said. "Are you?"
"I'm ready too." Logan stated, then they heard some footsteps and coming from one of the office rooms was Abby's assisant choreographer and a close friend of Lorenzo's, Gianna Martello. "Hey, Gianna."
"Hi, Lorenzo. I can see that you're in your sports spirit." Gianna said.
"I'm also in my dancing spirit too like always, i'm ready to help you two lead the girls to victory."
"That's the spirit!" Abby exclaimed with a smile on her face, she knew that her son was always ready for a dancing season, then they hear the door open and walking in was a 12 year old blonde dancer and her mother, the dancer's name was Chloe Lukasiak and her mother's name was Christi and with them was a woman with short auburn hair and next to the woman was a tall 15 year old with brown hair and a blonde haired 12 year old was with them, the two girls were Brooke and Paige Hyland and the woman who was with them was their mother, Kelly.
"Hello, everybody." Chloe said.
"Hey!" Paige exclaimed.
"Hello there."
"Hey, Chlobird." Lorenzo greeted the young dancer, giving her a hug, then he gave Brooke and Paige a hug too. "How's it going, Brooke and Paigey?"
"It's going good, Enzo." Brooke said as Abby and Gianna snickered at hearing Logan getting called by one of his nicknames, and "Enzo" annoyed him at times as Lorenzo rolled his eyes.
"Hi, Lorenzo." Christi and Kelly both stated.
"Hey Christi, Hey Kelly." Lorenzo replied as they hugged him.
"Hello, two time National Champ." Abby said to Chloe.
"Hi, Miss Abby." Chloe replied as her dance teacher, who gave her a one arm hug, then she high fived Brooke and Paige and she talked to Christi and Kelly for a while.
"Are you ready to dance to Nationals again?" Gianna asked.
"Ready, Willing and Able." Paige said as she, Brooke and Chloe all headed to the Dancer's Den to get ready with Christi and Kelly behind them, then walking in next two girls and their mom, one was 11 and the other was 9 and they and their mom had ash brown hair, they were Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler and their mother, Melissa.
"Hi, Miss Abby. Hi, Miss Gia and Hi, Lorenzo." Maddie greeted.
"Hi, Maddie. Hi, Mackenzie." Abby stated plainly, before Nationals 2012, Maddie was the favorite, but ever since Chloe had beaten her, the relationship that Abby and Lorenzo had with the Zieglers had deteriorated and not only did Abby greet them plainly, Lorenzo and even Gianna did the same thing as the Zieglers headed to the dancer's den and minutes later the other girls, who were Kendall Vertes, Payton Ackerman, Asia Monet Ray, Nia Frazier and their mothers, Jill, Leslie, Kristie and Holly arrived and then while the girls were getting prepared for the first rehearsal of the season, Lorenzo did the pyramid and after that, it was time for Pyramid.
"Come on, Girls! It's pyramid time so get your butts in here!" Abby shouted as Maddie, Mackenzie, Nia, Brooke, Paige, Chloe, Kendall, Payton and Asia all walked into Studio A with Melissa, Holly, Kelly, Christi, Jill, Leslie and Kristie behind them.
"GIrls, moms, welcome to a brand new season of dance and last year, you won another national title, but don't get too comfy because you're gonna defend that title against all comers, so like always, you're gonna have to work hard to keep that title!" Abby sternly told them, then she turned her attention to her son. "All right Lorenzo, i'm gonna let you have the floor with the pyramid."

Top - Chloe
Middle - Paige, Asia, Nia
Bottom - Kendall, Brooke, Mackenzie, Payton, Maddie
Maddie and Mackenzie both were upset that they were on the bottom of the pyramid, but they knew that they had been falling out of favor with Abby and Lorenzo and their mother knew too.
"Now that we got the first pyramid of the season out of the way, we are going to be heading to Starpower in San Jose and here's what we've got, Chloe will be doing a solo, Paige will be doing a solo, Nia and Asia will be doing a duet and we have another duet and Maddie and Mackenzie will be doing that duet and everyone will be in the group dance." Abby told everyone.
"All right, Moms, you're dismissed and girls, start warming up." Lorenzo said.
