Why Try?
Nox's POV
I woke up in my pile of furs, in the sleeping chamber, what i remember blacking out, who bring me here?, and i remembered i coughed blood, that was truly terrifying, please tell me that, that was just a dream,
"Your awake!" Nathan yelled,
"What happened luna?" I asked,
"You passed out in the cave, near the hot pools" he said with worry in his eyes,
"I remember coughing blood" i said with pain, my throat was super dry,
"Xander!, Xander!!!" He yelled,
"Yes nathan? What happened?, oh nox's awake" he said firmly with worry,
"Go sleep you need rest, will call the pack doctor" I didn't fight the tiredness i just let my self fall asleep,

Thyrius's POV
What happened here why is nox, tired?, what happened to him, is it my fault, I won't forgive myself if it's s my fault, i kissed candice because she was my crush, and i think nox mistaken that...,
It's all my fault, i let nox, do this to him self, im such a jackass, he wake up, dad, and father, are talking to him, i peeked at the corner of the door, seeing him, sad, and tired, then my dad, told nox to sleep, they left the room, with only nox, in there,
4 Hours Later
I was walking to the sleeping chamber where nox is, i entered the room, i hold his soft hands, he was beautiful, he was like an angel, that the moon goddess bring here, now i feel guilty for doing this to him, i caressed his hands more, it was so small, i compared my hands,
Then suddenly he grab my hands, he hold it tighly, then he coughed, looking in his surroundings, he look at me, i gave him my full smile, but i was sad on the inside, so hopefully this doesn't affect my smile, he smiled too, this is my chance to say sorry, for what I've done,
"Nox..." I stated nervously,
"Im sorry i can explain" i said,
"You don't have to explain, it's not about me, it's about you and candice, she's looking for right now, you might as well leave me here" he smiled painfully,
"No i kissed his hands, your assumptions are wrong nox, candice is my crush and best friend, it's normal for us to kiss each other's cheeks and hug each other, like friends, no more, no less" i stated firmly,
He hid his reddened face to the furs, he looks so adorable doing this, i might have a cuteness overload, if he keeps doing this,
"Please can you tell me why you left the amazing cake, that i want to eat" i asked,
"Because it's just waste of my efforts thyrius, you made me wait, then you left me alone, so i just ran for it..." He said,
It's really my fault i did left him inside, while i was talking to candice, then i kissed candice in front of him, that's why he left the cake unattended, i felt so guilty, i feel sad, about doing that, he didn't finished the cake that i was waiting for, while i was looking at the cake i saw, one piece of strawberry laying on the floor,
We love strawberries, i told my self when i saw the strawberries, he was making a strawberry cake, and i ruined it, by leaving him there, he was right though, all his effort turned into trash, of course, he will be mad, and sad, at the same time,
"Im sorry i left you waiting" i said bowing down my head,
"It's all my fault if I didn't leave you unattended there, then i would have tasted your amazing cake, i feel so guilty nox, im so sorry, i never meant to hurt your feelings, by leaving you there" i said, pained in my voice,
" you want to know the real reason, i ran to the hot pools?" Tears running down his cheeks,
"Because i like you... Because i like you!" He muttered and then repeated the sentences in a yell,
I was shock at the same time, but i still don't know if this was love or just comforting and caring for friends, i mean i love my best friend she's my crush, but nothing more, maybe when i turned eighteen i might be her mate, but somebody love me too, and im hurting his feelings,
I didn't know what to say i opened my mouth and thinking of what to say, but nothing came out, i wipe the tears in his eyes instead, saying,
"You deserve better nox, not me", i gave him my last forced smile then i left the room, feeling a bit confused and shock, I don't know what to do now,
Nox's POV
He said it he doesn't want me, i started sobbing, it hurts it hurts!, why must you do this to me Thyrius!, why!, i love you, why must you reject me, i sniff a little, while still sobbing,
"Thyrius i want to be with you please don't leave me..." I whispered in my sob,
Thyrius please, why must you not love me, i can't i want to, say that but now that i said it, he rejected me, he doesn't want me, thyrius your perfect, your the only person, that i felt this,
"I love you thyrius" i whispered at my sob...
One week later
Thyrius POV
Time 8:00AM
"Happy Birthday!" My dad, and father yelled in unison,
"Thanks dad Thanks Father!" Im so excited im going to be alpha, then i can find my mate which is Candice! Horay!,
"Come here boy! Give me a hug" my father said, i jump without second thouhgt,
"Thanks father im so excited to be alpha" i yelled,
"Congratulations son" my dad said, while laughing,
"Do i have a cake?" I said
I remember, nox, his the only baker, the pack has, and i think he will not be wroking, he was depressed, by what i said, that his not even working anymore, my dad came to see him every day, but he keeps crying,
Poor nox, but I don't blame him, i rejected his feelings, of course his going to be depressed, but at least I won't let nox, affect my birthday, im going to candice and give her a hug, and a kiss,
I walked past the sleeping chamber, to candice's room, there she was my beautiful gurl, i hug her, and pulled her to my chest, and kissed her cheeks, but something was wrong, I don't feel any feelings for her, it's like I don't need her anymore, I didn't stop hugging candice, then i let her go,
Poor but there were no cakes,
12 hours later
Im going to find my mate!, im so excited, when it's night time, my sense are more powerful and i can find my mate easily, i know that candice is mate his just in the other room,
"Go Find Your Mate Alpha" my father shouted to the whole pack,
"Gladly" i said with a big smile,
"Find Mate!!" Devil Said, my Wolf,
"Yes will find our mate devil" i said to my wolf
My wolf take control and lead me out of the crowd
While walking, i walked to candice room, and sniff the door, my wolf didn't open the door, i was confused btw, i got back to the sleeping chamber, and entered my way, i was on all fours btw, a big bad wolf ;),
I looked for the strawberry filled scent, then i walked to the pile of furs, and lick the nose, of the person who was crying, my eyes where golden, filled with lust to find my mate,
Then i realize this was nox, WHAT NOX IS MY MATE!?, i should have known better :(, i did all of that to hurt my mate, nox sit to his position, and looked at my eyes,
"MINE" devil said,
"Yes nox is mine but I don't know if he will forgive us" i told him
"Your bad thyrius you hurt mate" said my wolf
I transform back to human form, then pulled nox to a tight hug, i was indulged by the smell of strawberries, my mate smells good, he was still sobbing hiding his face on my hard chest,
"Nox?" I said, with sincerity in my voice,
"Your my--" i cut him off,
"Mate" i smiled and lift his chin and pressed my lips to his, no tongue, just pure gentleness, i found my other half, i was happy that i have him, i pulled and hug him tight again, he was my first kiss in the lips of course, I don't give my lips to somebody so easily, i saved my lips for this adorable thing in my chest,
"Thyrius?" He said looking at my eyes,
"Yes nox?" I gave him my Fullest Smile,
" your my mate i cant believe it thyrius" he buried his face to my chest again, making me chuckle on delight, sweet,
"Yes nox, And i will love you with my whole life, ill protect you, and will never do anything to hurt you i promise. Will you for give me nox, give me another chance to prove myself for you?" I said with a smile,
"Yes Thy, i love you" then he buried his face on my chest again making me laugh this time,
"Me too, me too noxy, i love you with my whole life" i pulled his face form my chest, and buried my face on his neck smelling all his scent, it gives me so much spark, being this close to my other half i love him, and im not going to let him go away,
"You Two are now the Leader of the Pack, with your Beta Tyler" someone from our backs said, my father,
"You heard that love?, your luna i kissed his forehead, making him blush, he almost look like a tomato, ahahaha, he buried his face on my chest and said,
"Yes alpha Thyrius, im now Luna okay are you okay now?" He mocked,
"Yes Angel" i now know what his wolf name is, angel,
I carried my mate to our room, laying him on the bed, cuddling and hugging each other, just enjoying the company of each other, i love this,
