Sophie's POV
As we make our way back to the pack house, I smelled something that was off.
"Jace, do you smell that?" I ask Jace
"Yes. I do." he says
"Well. What is it?"
"Its a rogue."
I gulp. Rogue? I thought. Apparently Jace read my thought because he says "Yes, a rogue."
"What is a rogue doing so close to the pack house?"
"I don't know. Let's go find out."
We walk towards the scent and find about in wolf form.
"What?" both me and Jace ask at the same time. We look at each other and burst out laughing.
"What are you guys laughing at?" a voice asks.
"Nothing. Anyways what are you doing this close to a pack house?" Jace asks
"I've come to ask to join your pack, Alpha Jace." he says
"What is your name?"
"Dakota, sir"
"Alright Dakota. Your acceptance day will be in three days time. Don't make me regret this." Jace tells him but not before receiving a glare from me.
"Thank you alpha."
Once we get to the pack house and into our room I stop Jace
"What the hall was that?!?" I yell at him
"That was me accepting a rogue."
"Don't you think I know that? Why did you do it how can you be so sure he won't kill all of us in our sleep?"
"I can't."
"Then why the hall did you do it?"
"Because everyone deserves a second chance."
"Fine." I huff
That night as I'm asleep I feel something is terribly wrong.
