Lorreta went to her first class,English.She sat down in her seat and waited for their teacher,Mr.Meaner.But the teacher that entered the room wasn't Mr.Meaner,but a woman!She was around her twenties,she had red hair tied into a pony tail,green eyes,beautifully tanned skin,and wore a teacher's uniform.She smiled brightly at the class.From where she sat she could see the boys drooling at the lovely maiden before them.
"Alright settle down everyone"she said with a sort of deep feminine voice.
When she saw that no one heeded her order,she slamed her hand on the teacher's table and shouted in a more commanding voice."EVERYONE GET THEIR BUTTS TO THEIR SEATS OR I'LL GLUE YA TO THEM INSTEAD!"
A dark aura engulfed their teacher,and she suddenly had the eyes of a killer.And as if on instinct everyone shuffled quickly to their seats.The teacher smiled and the dark aura was replaced with a bubbly warm and light aura.
"Alright now that everyone is in their seats let me introduce myself.I'm your new English teacher Miss Rowanda Forge."She said happily.
Then Lorreta noticed something on her new teacher's wrist.It was golden brown with a red and orange dragon coiling around it,and between it's head and it's tail was a an emerald gem.
'There's no doubt about it,that's the dragon treasure,Jade Chain!This woman is a dragonette...' Lorreta thought to herself.
Their teacher is a protector of the ancient dragon treasure Jade Chain.The dragomirs and dragonettes use the Jade Chain to seal powerful enemies,and imprison dangerous criminals.It can also be used as a weapon if needed.If that is so then their teacher must be very powerful.
*Lorreta's P.O.V*
As the lunch bell rang,I was about to talk to our new teacher Miss Forge.When suddenly a mysterious hand pulled me out of the room and dragged me to who-knows-where.I looked up to see who my abducter was.It was Levi! She dragged me all the way to the roof,both me and my lunch which I was carrying before I got pulled out of the classroom.She seated me on a bench (I made this school have benches on its flat roofs) and sat down aswell.She opened her lunchbox,which I was completely unaware of noticing when she dragged me around,and started eating.I opened my lunchbox and started eating too,but at a much slower pace than my friend,she was practically horking it down!After she ate she looked at me with a determined look.
"What?"I asked her.She stood up.
"Tell me what's wrong,"said in a commanding tone.
"Huh?" Was the only thing that came out my mouth.
She grumbled and tapped her foot rapidly on the tiled floor of the roof.
"LORRETA CHRISTINE VON FUERO,TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU THIS INSTANT!"She shouted.
I've never seen Levi like this before,she's normally cheery and positive.She looked at my shocked and slightly confused face.She calmed down and apologized to me.
*Levi's P.O.V*
"Sorry..."I told my shocked friend as I calmed down.
Lorreta wasn't herself these past few days. She's always thinking about something,and it got me worried because she used to be more aware of her surroundings and the people around her,now she just doesn't seem to care.
"Lorreta...I'm just really worried about you." I looked at her again.And again she had a shocked and confused face."You used to be a calm cool girl who takes note to her surroundings and the people around her.But now your always thinking and not caring about anything anymore!If you have a problem let me help you!That's what friends are for!"I told her.I was determined to help Lorreta with her problems.
"Levi it's nothing really-"
"LIAR!"I cut her off.
There was definitely something wrong with her.She touched my forehead with her index and middle finger.She chanted something and then everything went black.
*Lorreta's P.O.V*
I cast a sleeping spell on my one and only friend Levi.She said she wanted to help me with my problems,but she can't.I erased her memory about our conversation and replaced it with a new one.I made her lay down on a bench and left.
After classes Levi had no idea whatsoever about lunch.She waved goodbye to me and ran home.I was about to walk out of the school when I felt an overwhelming presence.I turned around to see our English teacher, Miss Forge.
*Normal P.O.V*
Lorreta and her new English teacher Miss Forge stood a few feet from each other with one glaring at the other.
"Why hello Miss Forge,"Lorreta greeted calmly."It's already late.Shouldn't you be going home?"The young girl inquired.
Rowanda just stood there not saying a word.The both of them kept glaring at each other,until Rowanda charged at a surprised Lorreta.Before Lorreta could react Rowanda used her now sharpened nails to claw her student.Lorreta quickly dodged it,but since she was in her human form,and not to mention her state of shock a few seconds ago,she didn't actually escape unharmed. She had a diagonal wound on her left shoulder dripping with blood. She turned into her original phantom form.
In her phantom form her legs were barely visible,and she floats a few inches off the ground.In this form she's unaffected by physical attacks,unless the attacks are from another phantom or attacks that are enhanced by magic,which will affect her.The wound was still there though,but instead of red blood,it had this semi-transparent green substance dripping from it. Miss Forge growled and charged at Lorreta again.This time Lorreta was prepared.The moment Rowanda strike,Lorreta vanished and appeared behind her.Lorreta formed an intense ball of power in her right hand.Lorreta had to give the impression that she was a novice,so she used that attack,but she did add more power than necessary.She shot it at Rowanda's back.
It hit her with so much force that she passed out right after she was done screaming in pain.Lorreta had reverted to her human form.The green substance replaced by blood.She looked down to her unconscious teacher. Then she felt another presence.She immediately threw an energy sphere (the intense ball of power) at the unknown visitor.It quickly moved out of the way.
Lorreta was about to throw another one when a familiar voice spoke (more like screamed)."Wait!It's me!"
Lorreta stopped,and Fang stepped out from the shadows.
"Wow!You kill on sight!"He chuckled and walked over to Lorreta.
He stopped when he saw the wound Lorreta on her shoulder.Lorreta followed his gaze,and then she remembered Miss Forge cut her. Fang ran to her and checked the wound.
"What happened?"He asked,his voice a little shaky.
"Nothing it's just a scratch,"she said as calm as ever.
"What do you mean nothing?!Look at you!Your bleeding!"Fang all but shouted.Looking at Lorreta straight in the eye.
Lorreta smirked,looked at her blood and said sarcastically."Then why don't you drink it?"Pointing at the red liquid running down her shoulder.
Fang was shocked to hear this. "Stop joking around!"He hissed angrily.
Lorreta looked down at her still unconscious teacher.Fang sighed and placed his hand on Lorreta's wound.Lorreta snapped her head at him.His hand was covered with glowing transparent light green energy.Lorreta looked at him then at her wound.Fang lifted his hand from her shoulder and the wound was completely gone!Lorreta gave him a questioning look.
"I'm a healer and a shield,"was his answer.Rowanda grunted and both of their heads snapped to her shivering body.
"Do the same to her,"Lorreta ordered pointing at Miss Forge.
"Your kidding right?"Fang laughed weakly."SHE,"he pointed at Miss Forge."TRIED to KILL YOU!"
"So?"Lorreta inquired dully.
"So,no...N!O!NO!!"he yelled.Crossing his arms over his chest,pouting.
He looked at Lorreta who had tears forming at the corner of her eyes.'Oh god,please no,' he mentally pleaded.
He already saw Lorreta cry,he doesn't want to see it again. A single tear ran down Lorreta's cheek,then a few seconds after that she tried hysterically.
"No,no,no,don't cry.Please Lorey don't cry,"Fang begged as he desperately tried to comfort the crying sixteen-year-old.
But seeing as nothing he does will help he healed Rowanda.Lorreta stopped crying and smiled,Fang loved her smile and will do anything to see it again.Rowanda opened her eyes and rolled away from them.
"Who are you?!"She growled.Fang stood up in front of Lorreta.
"The question,Miss Forge...Is who are YOU?"Lorreta asked emphasizing the YOU.
Rowanda stood up and dusted herself."I,"she started."Am Rowanda Dragneel Forge.Daughter of the great dragon chief of the North,Taliasin Draco Forge!Protector of the ancient dragon treasure Jade Chain."She showed them the beautiful bracelet she wears.
"Now tell me who you are,"she commanded.
Lorreta spoke first."Lorreta Christine von Fuero.Protector of the ancient phantom treasure the Spirit Ring,"she said rather calmly while revealing the beautiful golden ring.
"Fang Cornielius Dracula.Decendant of the late great vampire Count Dracula.Protector of the ancient vampire treasure the Blood Talesment,"Fang said glaring at the dragonette while showing the talesment around his neck.
Miss Forge smiled."So both of you youngsters are protectors huh?Hehe,I knew there was somethin odd about ya princess," she mused.Her voice sounded like that of a female pirate combined with a voice of a woman of high stature.
Lorreta didn't mind the attitude of her teacher,and removed her attitude disguise as well."Yup.I knew you were a dragonette the moment I saw the Jade Chain.You really need to work on your anger management too teach.The students are getting spooked,"she said with a wink,her voice isn't a formal female voice,it's now replaced with a normal high school girl tone with a little loveliness.Fang's mouth dropped to the ground as he heard Lorreta talk.
Miss Forge smirked."Heh,your disguise is pretty convincing,"she complimented rolling her eyes.
Lorreta giggled."This is the other side of me.I only think it's right to talk to protectors formally. That is until I find out their real personality,"she beamed leaving her teacher and Fang in shock.
"S-so you could have talked to me normally?!"Fang screeched,flailing his arms up and down.
Lorreta nodded."It's getting late my parents will get worried if I stay out too late,"she stated as she started to walk out of the school.
"Oh yeah that's right.Sorry for attackin ya,"Rowanda called out to Lorreta's retreating figure.
Lorreta turned around and straightened up."I accept your apology.I will see you tomorrow then Miss Forge,"she stated,her formal side taking over,and left.
Fang and the dragonette couldn't believe their eyes."Wow!That girl is good,"Rowanda praised.Fang nodded slowly.Then both went home after that.
