It was the week before Halloween, people were just putting the finishing touches on their decorations and making sure the had enough candy for the trick-or-treaters. Two kids by the names of Alyce Winchester and Jonathan Macklaham were up to no good,not that they were ever good,I mean Alyce punched the head cheerleader in the face cause she looked at her funny...I know,not a normal girl,but hey,the girl kinda had to be tough growing up in the small town of Dallas Quarters,Oklahoma(yes I made that up) if you weren't tough,you'd get your ass handed to you,and not on a silver platter.Jonathan was the town Badass. He smoked,drank,and was in a gang,but he never did drugs,he'd promised himself to never touch that stuff...not after what happened to his older brother,who was just two years older than him at the ripe age of 21 when he overdosed on cocaine...not that Jonathan believed his brother overdosed,no,he had a feeling that he was murdered because his brother had told him he was giving up on the drugs and trying to be a clean man. But he didn't get to be clean for a day and then the news of his death spread around the town like wildfire! Jonathan and his family had gotten sympathy looks from everyone,but he'd give them a glare and they would scurry off like he was the devil reincarnate. And for some reason him and Alyce were best friends...but she wanted more,not that she would tell anybody that,she didn't give him sympathy looks,no,she just looked him straight in the eyes with a look that said, "I'm here for you." And that was all it took...and instantly they became friends.Now,the reason they were walking around town was because Jonathan had "Accidentally" heard some drug dealers mention that his brothers death was actually a murder,like he had thought.
