It had been 9 years since the death of lissana (I know in the manga it was 2 but I killing her of earlier).
Her death struck everyone. Mostly natsu he made a vow to never lose his friends again.
And in that time natsu dragnel became a S class Mage and went on a 100 year job. Now today he was returning.
"Oh look happy it's true fairy tail has really be ruined" a black cloak figured said pointing out across the town. They were standing on top of a cliff facing the front of fairy tail.
"Aye. And look fairy building has changed a lot" he pointed to a crummy little shack with the fairy tail symbols. A small blue cat wearing a tuxedo was sitting on the shoulder of the man.
"Well my arms and getting sleepy. With this money and reward. Let's go" the figured walked down a path to the left
"Aye sir" he said saluting like a soldier.
"Hey I'm doing all the walking" the both chuckled at this.
"Man fairy tail sure has fallen far".
Fairy tail guild hall.
Lucy sat at the ruined bar with a glass of water in her hands bored out of her mind. That what it looked like in actual fact she was getting her self pumped up grand magic.
"So Lucy, where will your group be going" mirjane asked from behind the bar wiping a glass mug. She was getting back into the job.
"Well Ezra was think of going to beach to train hey where are you going" she then took a sip of her drink.
"Well I don't know yet. But I'm sure I'll think of something" she then handed her another glass of water.
The guild master walked from his office with a letter in his hand. He then sat down on the wooden bench with a mug of beer. He then lit the letter on fire "stupid kid" he laughed then smiled.
People just looked at him funny then went back to setting up.
"Alright you brats. In 3 hours you will leave for you 3moth training before the grand magic games"master shouted. He still had a giant smile on his face.
"Hey guys!. We've got a massive problem" macro ran in with Romeo by his side.
"What's up" Gray said but naked.
"Gray your clothes" Cana spoke up. He ran of to find some pants.
"The townspeople are running. There's a giant monster walker in thought the street" everyone ran to the door and low and behold there was. It was taller than any of the building. It must have been a mountain size.
"This could be the perfect time for fairy tail to get its rep up" Ezra said cracking her nuckles she then pulled out her sword.
"Holy crap that things massive. And it's foot steps and making the building shake." Gray said with some dignity.
"Well that would not be difficult. This is a windmill" They watched as it walked the way up to building.
It stood in front of fairy tail.
"Well it's seems to want to fight us" makrov wiped some of the beer from his mouth. Before he even touched the beast it fell to the right. And there where it's tail had been there was black cloak figure. Who had a horn the size of two of its legs. And a massive sack the size of its face. His magic aura was massive it would do a small pulse cracking the wood and concrete around him.
"Master what are you doing" Lucy shouted. The figure walked forward.
He then stood in front of the master. Then without warning the figure knelt down and hugged the master. "My boy you grown up". The cloak flew of showing his salmon hair.
The older people new exactly who he was. He was the one who became a S class right after the death of his childhood friend he looked so much more different expescially his aura. The two broke away.
"Master, I've finished the job" the master just smiled at him.
"Aye sir" the cat with a tuxedo flew up behind him.
"Welcome back natsu and happy" he then glowed gold and became a Titan. Bam natsu was smashed on the head.
His cloak was destroyed. In his place was a tall man, he was holding a staff his pink hair looked lighter. He was taller 6,3 muscular like Laxus, he looked in a word, deviously handsome. He wore black cloak, with his scarf around his neck with a belt covering his chest. And a tactile vest with some, black pants. And he still wore sandals and he had a black backpack on. And there was this slight wave behind in the air behind him.
"And that was for leaving the guild and only leaving a note" he Yelled out.
"NATSU!" The of older members ran up and hugged him
"Hey, ah natsu. What is this thing" macro pointed at he giant monster.
"Oh that was a baby of the monster that I had to stop. There were 40 of them and the mother was massive they let me keep this body as they need the others for food and clothes. They then stuffed then horn of the mother with jewels and medals. While they payed me the 600 million jewels for doing this job" he pointed to the sack and horn.
Everyone just had a shocked face on them. Holy crap.
"Natsu fight me!" Stood grey in his boxes. He then changed at him a hammer in his hands.
He went to swing but noting happen he saw natsu standing there looking quite bored and noticed a trail of water in the direction he swung.
With out wearing. A fire fist hit gray and smashed the building.
"Gray I trained for nine years, pure a solid training. If you think you can beat me" his fire wrapped around him his head lowered and the atmosphere dropped, his eyes turned red "Bring it on".
He then straighten him self up. "So I hear you guys are joining the magic games" he smiled at this.
Everyone was still recovering from what had just happened. Master was the first to speak up, "yeah we going to go win that reward money" he smiled at natsu he had grown quite strong.
"Well I'm in a ill be training with my old team before I left" he smiled at Ezra and gray who still in a wall.
1 day later.
"Man it feels nice to be out in the sun" Ezra said wearing a black bikini.
"Yeah training in the sun is amazing" Lucy had a smile on her face she wore a pink binkini.
"Yeah great for the body" levy said she wore a purple bikini.
"This should be a great place to help me learn this book of magic form polyuscia" Wendy wore a blue skirt and striped swim shirt.
"Yes that's right. meanwhile me and happy can party" Carla stood next to Carla with a ring around his stomach a and flippers.
"I think you guys are missing the point, this is meant to be a training area. So you guys can train for the games" jet shouted at the group.
"Yeah at least enough to beat us" droy was eating a foot long sub.
"I think you guys have it on the ropes. They can have a one day break they have fought harder than any of you guys" Natsu walked up behind him women of all ages where fainting. He wore a red pair of swim trunks. His body was rugged and tough not a ounce of fat, his eight pack gleamed in the sun with its tan. There were scars dotted around the biggest was the one right across his chest with small and what looked like knife wounds world his stomach.
On his back was these lines across his body like he was scratched by thousands of branches.
"But come on if they can't beat us they can't win in the grand magic games" droy complained he was now drinking a large slushy while eating a massive burger.
"They be fine a couple of hours of fun can't kill anybody" Natsu stretched out his arms. "Plus you can train while having fun" he smiled at this.
Suddenly he ran for the water "with racing to the water" gray ran beside him. "Swimming race" he and gray swam beside each other. "Sand castle building", "tanning" they both laid down looking like cooked fish.
"My gray-Sama, looks so cool with a tan" Juvia hid behind a wooden tree with a blue swimsuit. "Come look over her my darling" she looked at gray who was now running to the restaurant.
"Eating contest" beside gray and natsu where massive pile of bones and plates.
"Whew, man I beat" Natsu said yawning.
"Let's go to sleep" gray suggested,
"Are you kidding they just completely wore them selves" jet screamed.
"That was ten hours of hard work and they did it in ten minutes"droy was slurping down a large bowl of pasta,
Ezra was tanning on the beach. Lucy's, Levia and Juvia were plying in the water, Carla and happy were swimming in the ocean. Wendy was trying to read the manuscript from polyuscia.
2 hours later
"Concrete miss Lucy. You will never be able to create more magic power unless you build up on your mental side" a goat standing on two legs wearing a suit and glasses.
Lucy was trying her hardest to train ever since that Natsu guy showed up she felt like she was Moments away from fainting. And when ever she fought she would always run out of magic power at the worst of moments.
Juvia was sitting on the sea floating water around her. Gray was making pillars out if different ice. Wendy was reading the paper with the help of levy who wrote it down. Ezra was swinging her swords in different ways and natsu he swam down to the bottom of the ocean as he was uncomfortable with the amount of staring he was getting.
"Keep going your mother had to do the exact same thing" suddenly air Lucy expanded pushing leaves and sand but soon left.
"Man this is hard" she sighed breathing in the air.
Suddenly the ground rumbled and up popped Virgo. "Princess I bring a egent message from the spirt world" Lucy eyes shot open at this. "Guys!" She called out shocking everyone.
Everyone ran over expect for natsu who shot out of the water with his fire.
After everyone was with Lucy "What's up?" Lucy asked with everyone with her.
"Princess the spirt world is in danger" everyone eyes opened wide "no time to explain" a bright blue circle appeared in they were all sucked up.
"We got left behind" jet and droy both looked depressed.
3 months latter.
The group returned and collapsed on the beach.
"NNNOOO!" They all screamed crying and depressed. They had been they for 3 hours which meant 3 months in real time.
"That's okay well just train much harder and tougher until we all die from exhaustion if we must" Natsu and Gary nodded at this. Wendy looked frightened, Lucy shivered levy looked as thought she was about to collapse.
Suddenly a small pigeon landed on Ezra head.
"What's that a pigeon" gray asked.
"Hey, there something attached to its leg" Wendy pointed out the letter.
Natsu grabbed the pigeon leg "Dear fairy tail come to the suspension bridge to the north".
1 hour latter
"Well were here" Lucy asked the bridge was there but it was destroyed.
"So what now" jet asked. Suddenly the bridge repaired it self.
"That's..." Natsu spoke up he had a smile on his face.
The group went across the bridge and came to a small cliff. "Welcome, fairy tail"
"No.." Ezra stuttered.
There in front of them were three people with cloaks the front was jellal to the right was ultear and left was merdy.
"Jellal what are you doing here?" She asked eager to know how he was not in jail.
"Merely" Juvia asked out.
"Hey Juvia" she smiled a white smile.
"Ultear, your with grimrore heart" gray asked ready for a fight.
"No I left that guild, and formed a independent guild after it was dispatched and freed to jellal to form crime sorcerer". She paused and stopped for a moment "I've committed may sins and I will never be able to make up for them". She glanced at natsu and he started back at her.
Suddenly natsu walked up to ultear. Ultear did not know what to expect, yelling, anger, reason, sadness. Instead what she got was a passionate kiss. God she missed this she wrapped her arms around his neck his arms around her waist.
"What!?" Everyone there screamed.
They broke apart and smiled at each other there hands entwined.
After a good twenty minutes of explaining.
Natsu and ultra stood side by side. "So in exchange for getting information you give us a power boost" Lucy questioned.
"Yes with my arc of time magic, this will allow me to unlock you abilities even further" she held her crystal ball up.
Everyone smiled at this. "Wo ho we're going to get a power up" jet and droy sung spinning around.
1 hour later.
"Argh" gray was on the ground withering in pain. Next to him stood Natsu, with glowing red marks around his body. Gray though since Natsu did not fell pain then it would not be as much.
"Stay brave you have a long way to go" She glanced at natsu to which he smiled.
"How come gray in pain yet Natsu looks as though he fine" levy asked pointing out the obvious.
"Either Natsu unlocked his second origin or he has a stronger will" merely asked.
In the back ground jet and droy were tip going away. "We don't need a power boost"
Some time later everyone was on the ground in pain expect for Ezra and Natsu.
Natsu had taken ultear away and Ezra was talking to jellal while merdy was watching everyone else.
With natsu and ultear.
Natsu lied on the grass the cold ness of it was replaced with his warmth of the warmth on top of him. On him lay ultear resting her head, on his head
"It's peaceful" ultear said.
"Yeah it reminds me of the past when we just did this well expect when you where with grime heart at the time" he smiled at her.
"Yeah well I turned you away. That was my fault but now this time I will fix that fault". Ultear stared at this eyes.
"Hey you don't need to fix the past. Let that be focus on the future" he then kissed her.
It was beautiful love by the lake.
2hours later.
"So I guess this is good bye" merdy said hugging Natsu who she wished was her father they look so much alike.
"We will find what is happening at the games we promise you" Natsu said, Natsu and ultear looked like they had a fight with a bear which was not far from the truth.
"Far well fairy tail" jellal and them walked off. Before they left jellal and Ezra shared a look.
She the looked at the moon "Nice one jellal".
"Hey Ezra look at my drawing" Ezra looked over. And saw happy drawing in the sand.
On the sand was what look like a heart split in two. He giggled at that which received a kick to the face sending him of to the moon.
"Oh Ezra" Natsu Smiled.
In a cave
"Well that went well, we now know that there some one on the inside" merdy poked the fire with a stick.
"Yeah" ultear smiled "for Ezra and jellal" both girls laughed.
"Hey, what were you and natsu doing that took two hours" at this ultear smiled and blushed a red.
Merdy smiled at his "So when can I be expecting a sibling" to which she recited punch to the face sending who into the cave wall.
3 days later.
"Well looks looks like you guys have improve" makrov could feel the aura if it was possible Natsu standard aura had increased.
"Yeah" Lucy smiled at this.
"Alright the people that will be going to the grand grand magic games will be... Natsu, Ezra and gray, and.., Lucy and Wendy" to which eh received shocked faces.
"Why not Gageel or laxus" max screamed.
"Well they aren't back yet so this will do". Everyone just shrugged they had trained and they had Natsu.
Note: I skipping to the entrance of the game next chapter.
