Now I'm 18.
I finished highschool. I'm starting college soon and you have no clue how excited I am. Mostly because the parties, and new people, and out of this sad excuse of a town!
College was starting in 3 days. I'm going to Buffalo, which is upstate, which is in New York.
3 days later: College
"Today," I whisper to myself as i just wake up. It was my first thought, and nothing could ruin how happy I felt. Not even the disgusting food smell thing I smelled from all the way upstairs. I got up and stretched and looked in the mirror. "God,ew" I think to myself. I brushed and my hair and did a little makeup. I hate knowing that I look like a dead dog. I ran downstairs. Everyones parents drives them to college usually, but I have my license. And plus we can just have our goodbyes at home. Noone needs a gay crying fest at the college. It does sound I dont like my parents but I do surprisingly.
"I'm gonna go soon," I said at breakfast. "Where this time,hmm?" My dad asked. I didnt know whether he was kidding or not. Hes the oblivious and sarcastic type so 99% of the time, if you really know him, you need to ask him if hes kidding. "College.." I said in an awkward tone. My dad smiled at my mom, who was obviously distracted from her annoying show she always watches. "Ok, well, I'm gonna go," I say. "Like you know, a 4 hour drive, to caa-lii-dgeee." I was saying college slowly cause I dont even think they even knew.
I was ready.
Everything packed in my car, papers, clothes, supplies, makeup, books. It took a while for that maybe like 2 hours. Once my parents came outside to say bye, it was probably an annoying ass other 3 hours. "No drinking or drugs, dont touch boys, focus on your studies." My parents said.I rolled my eyes. They gave me a lecture and yup, my mom started to tear up. I hugged them and told them everything will be fine which I doubt. "Call me everyday, I love you!" My mom yelled as I walked to the car. I didn't say it back. I got into the car and waved and smiled at them.
