Zahan POV
I dont know how to predict my life anymore,just 16 days back i was bachlor but now im a married man,i guess thats how life is suprising you with things you didnt expect off,you can never guess what Allah plans for you i mean look at me i got married to a girl with whom i just talked once and the exciting thing is she doesnt even know about it which makes me wonder how her reaction would be if she finds out most of the times i do feel to reveal it to her but something stops me,will her behaviour would be same after knowing it?
Zara is kinda different,i wont compare her with any other girl but yes what image i had set in mind she differs from it many way,we are not like other couples or to be exact we are not like ashar and sara bhabi,they are like the perfect romantic couples i could think of,Zara takes her own time for things i will be lying if i say she got used to our house and environment and such but she does seems making effort
She is not the type of daughter-in-law my mother had imagined for me,who can blame her she always dreams of yusra being her daughter-in-law and now she has Zara
Zara needs to make a lot of effort to impress my mom escpecially she need to work on her cooking skill which i would say is not that good,no wonder why her brother works in other country frankly even i cook better than her despite of this she has a spark in her which force me to get attracted to her
knock knock knock
"Zahan dinner is ready,come down soon"Zara spoke opening the door
"Ya be right there!"i quickly saved my files and shut my laptop off and walked toward Zara who was waiting for me tapping her feet
"so Zahan i hope you remember tommorow is Yusra's engagement,make sure you reach on time"dadu said more like in a warning tone
"Ya dadu i remember il be there on time" i smiled back
"Me,humera,zara will leave evening itself to help yusra's mom in arrangements and stuff" Mom looked at Zara and smiled for which Zara smiled back
"So Zahan,After yusra's engagement you are going on honey moon right,i mean you guys are married for two weeks now and you havent been in your honeymoon?" humera di gave me an evil look
"Di!come on! you are such an embarrasment,there is no way im gona discuss that topic with you here with everyone"i gave more evil look which made everyone laugh
"okay okay,whatever, i was trying to be a good sister you know"she teased i didnt responce back,i was the first to finish dinner and head back
Di was right we are married for two weeks now and we didnt find time for each other though what would Zara think about me?she must be wishing to go out right
"Mrs.Zahan?"i called her when i saw her coming out of washroom finishing her wazu
"ummm yeah?"she quickly looked at me
"where would you wana go for our honeymoon?" i looked straight in her eyes and asked
Zara POV
Oh my Allah!why is he asking me where we wana go on honeymoon,does he really wana go?does that mean he wants to take our relationship to a new level?but im not ready yet!
"Earth to Zara!!!"his voice with caught my attention
"Sorry what were you saying"he started laughing
"look at your face you look so pale" he continued between his laugh
"No i dont!,i was just thinking"i answered making sure i sounded strong enough
"ohh..so tell me what were you thinking,it is the place where we go or is it why is he asking me where to go what does he mean by that"i literally choke at his words
"can..can you read minds?"he started laughing harder i immeadietly regreted for what i said
Man!i have idiotic habit of speaking what ever comes in minds in front of him i really need to work on it
"Dont worry it will be just like a vacation,if we go on a trip together Di and other family members will be happy"he gave a gunine smile
"Oh okay,you choose the place i havent travel much and as its just a vacation im sure you got some choosen spots of our own as you keep travelling alot and we go on real honeymoon il choose"i excitedly said for which he left out a soft laugh and nodded
After that i finished my Esha prayer and got myself ready for bed seeing me getting ready Zahan too closed his files and moved in bed
we both had this strange habit of waiting for eachother to finish to their work and we both go to sleep together i still sleep with pillow and Zahan agreed momentarly for this and funny thing is he too started hugging the pillow
"Zara?"he called my name all of a sudden
"yeah?" i turned my face to look at him
"When ever anyone(like your dad,me, Di,Mom,hashim) calls you why do you responce so quickly" well that was a weird question he asked
"ahhh..ummm..well if someone calls you,you should responce back as quickly as you can right,thats what i try to do,it wont be that nice to keep them waiting right!"i hesitated and answer cz actually his question was weird and i didnt know how to answer
"hmmm....then when Allah calls you for prayer why do you perform prayers late,when you responce back quickly to people why not to ALLAH" his words struck me like thunder we both we silent after that he didnt said anything and slept but i couldnt
Yes i have this habit of offering prayer very late and Zahan must have noted that but the way he choose to make me understand struck me like thunder he didnt give me lecture or anything but with simple words he made me realise my mistake
I started to respect my husband more now...
