The new lamb stands only to fall again,
Bears awake from their eternal slumber
To probe the earth, exiting their domain.
Dying crops are no longer so sombre
For the warm air doth heal their wintry aches,
As birds fly northwards, and once again reign
Supreme over our skies, filled with wonder;
How the land hath changed o'er frost's outbreaks.
Brimming creeks do gurgle before yonder path,
Leaf by leaf the hedgerow grows full,
And the rising sun so invincible.
Hedgehogs snuffle through the last rotting leaves,
Grubs of all kinds burst through now soften'd earth,
New shoots, like spears through the earth they do cleave.
Sweet song like nectar doth bring life and mirth,
And ripen'd apricots unmatch'd in taste
Do stain the young child's best Sunday shirtsleeves.
Pinks of blossom do bloom with mighty worth
As bees do swarm to make fertile the fruits.
And the rain doth fall to awaken new life,
Rare charms of beauty your days do behold,
On the rise of steep mountain, new, and old.
Good natured warm breeze we accept with glee,
Better times doth await, well within sight,
Sea shores do brim with prime fishing for thee;
And tender newborns, doth grow in their might.
Light footed creatures now hop to and fro;
Juicy red strawberries do so temp thee,
Fading memories of landscape snow-white
The strong rays of the sun beam down, life's hero.
Temptation doth gloat, as thine will is broken
Given in hath you, to divine springtime,
Life, lust and wealth. So totally sublime.
