A/N: Hello fellow readers! I'm really sorry for not posting anything!!! I feel really bad for those who have been really interested in this story (and thank you for that!) so I finally made this (kinda) short chapter! On with the story!
*Harry's POV*
"So you're telling me and Hermione that there's a three-headed dog at the third corridor?" Ron said.
"I do! Alfred and Matthew had those looks of terror ever since they entered the Transfiguration room! And I overheard those two talk about it with their friends!"
"Now that you mention it, they did have traumatized looks on their faces when I escorted them to Transfiguration." Hermione said. "I say that we should check it out ourselves."
"Hermione! Are you CRAZY?! You believe him too?!"
"Somewhat."
"I can't believe you two..." Ron shook his head. "I might as well come too..."
"Alright! Let's go tonight!" I said.
*time skip to nighttime*
"Ah, just as I thought. It's locked." Hermione said. "Alohomora."
The door clicked. It was unlocked now.
I opened the door slowly and carefully, half hoping that it was true that there was a three-headed dog there.
It turns out, there it was. Awake. Drool coming out of its mouth. Baring its teeth at the three of us.
"AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!" We screamed (so loud that the whole school could hear us).
Then the monster began to attack us. As we prepared for our deaths, there was some force stopping the attack, like the paw was being bounced back.
Wait..... what?
It tried to attack us again, but the paw bounced back.
Was that Hermione? Or was someone stalking us?
We closed the door and Hermione locked it immediately.
"Hermione, was that you?" Ron said.
"No! It wasn't me!"
"It wasn't me either!" I said.
*the next morning, during breakfast*
I still couldn't forget what we saw last night. There was a dog with three heads! So this is what Professor Dumbledore means when he says that the area is forbidden to those who don't want to die a painful death!
"What are they doing, keeping a thing like what we saw last night locked up in our school?" said Ron. "I mean, really?! Keeping a monster at our school!"
"You two didn't use your eyes? It was standing on a trapdoor! It's guarding something!" Hermione said. "Honestly you two..."
"Also, the dog couldn't lay a paw on us!" I said.
"That's right! And again, I didn't cast anything! The magic looked advanced, foreign even!"
"Foreign?" I said.
"Yes, I was at the library,"
"Of course you were", Ron muttered.
"And I was reading a book about foreign magic. Magic from Japan, America, Russia even! That shield had to be from a Japanese spell!"
"Well, who's from Japan?" Ron said.
"Kiku Honda is the only Japanese person we know!" Hermione said. "So it's possible that Kiku was protecting us that night!"
