A/N: This poem was inspired by the song 'Foreigner's God' by Hozier.

I don't agree
I don't agree
I don't agree
I don't agree
Banging my head against the wall, I don't agree.
Useless words and thoughts,
More and more come in,
BUT
I don't agree
Senses overdrive, snarky comebacks, bunching muscles, rolling of heads, calming of rising nerves........
I whisper, "I don't agree."
I scream, "I DON'T AGREE!"
I knock over my chair, I slam my fist onto the table, and I punch the wall. I arch my back, clench my fists and scream into the night.
I take a breath, I settle my anger, and I put my chair back. I sit down, cross my ankles and rest my folded hands in my lap.
I say calmly, "I don't agree."
